Nah, this guy chose to weaken the boss with an Iron Sword for the intent purpose for Roy to get the kill rather than obliterating boss with Marcus's Silver Lance.
Yeah it's insane, swordmasters had a 30% crit bonus I think in FE6. In later GBA titles they had, I think 15%. Guy and Joshua always felt so underwhelming compared to Rutger.
@@ethan0248910 they're crazy crit bonus is just one reason why they're so good, the other is their generally high skill stat and swords having higher accuracy. That's especially important when enemy units actually have a luck stat that's higher than 0. Combine that with FE6 weapons having lower hit rate compared to later games and hitting your target becomes a problem. That's contrasted with the importance of good 1-2 range in later GBA entries.
@@ethan0248910It’s one of the reasons why I love fe6, there’s so much bullshit going on and it’s actually challenging compared to the other GBA titles.
Not gonna lie, seeing Murdock dodge an 87% hit, land a 33% hit, and not take a crit from Rutger all in the same turn was the coolest thing I've seen from my favorite boss in this game.
you know what, i'm gonna take Roartz up on his offer. I would just love to be this man's servant, but on one condition: every ten seconds, Rutger comes and crits you with an iron sword. it's not meant to kill you, just torture you as long as you live.
playing FE7 first of the two without knowing the number order, I knew Eric would betray the league and hated him more when it happened but made me happy to kick his butt as Roy like Elwood before him, I think I wanted to see him try pulling that on my honestly, putting down Laus twice lol. _ To me I didn't have too much trouble with this game outside of not being able to get the gaiden on Murdock's chapter, when I played FE7 first I thought man this Murdock guy looks cool, I'd love to see how strong he is by his reputation, when i fought him in 6 I regretted my words gravely, he had a huge army and could tank everyone i feel 45 turns is still to little to do that level, i beat the game just because of his chapter got the normal ending, also though Zephiel was cool then saw the ending where he turns evil and though, did me saving him doom people then thought to myself, I might have done something indirectly very evil.
That foo Eric is scandalous haha. Murdock is a badass! I love his theme and he's actually no joke. He can tank some magical hits and he even dodged some of Rutger's attacks. I finished this chapter in 26 turns, but it took longer than that the first time around.
Hijole compa, no lo tengo. Lo estaba jugando en mi Gamecube por Gameboy Player. Compré una copia inauténtico de Fire Emblem Binding Blade en eBay hace años.
I think the reason why Gale doesn't get a boss theme is because he was originally planned to be a playable character. I'm pretty sure he has unique growth rates or something. Which kinda sucks because it would've been sick if he was recruitable.
That would've been tight if you could recruit him. He's a badass character. He is playable in the trail maps upon completing the game twice. Hopefully if they ever remake FE6, they'll make him recruitable.
Highlights include: Holy Crap Chap 1 Boss, Holy crap again Chap 5 Boss with with a Killer axe, Rutger ins his natural Boss Killing Habitat, Lugh wishes he had Grafcalibur and was named Asbel, Epic battles of Thany and Sue against Bulky bosses on FE 6 Thrones, RIP Dieck you will be missed,Narcian go home you got your Delphi Shield stolen pal, Arcado the Toughest paladin boss on GBA, This Madlad actually went to Sacae!!!, Thank God Zephiel dumped Speed and What the hell the final boss is this easy!?. All in all nice video! 👌
Idunn is the weakest final boss in the series, which is kind of a shame because she has one of the best final boss themes in the series. If Roy can double her and has half decent strength then he can trivialize her completely.
22:49 brakul's fenrir animation is so big and the dmg is so high that the swordmaster's simple dodge animation makes rutger look like way more badass than it should
me when I was in the last chapter in normal mode: why do i feel like its hard? me when I was in the last chapter in hard mode: *wow is this pain mode??*
@@ethan0248910 maybe they run out of pages like i'm thinking how magic books work is they use the pages to cast a spell and then the page loses it's power
Yanno, I wonder...of all you guys playing FE6 Boss Recruitment(if such a thing exists, I know it does for FE7), how many of you saved poor Slater from having to deal with Narshen(and, for maximum comedy, had him deliver the final blow ON Narshen)?
In Fire Emblem, many classes have a base design with a set of animations, and they when assign a color palette to the class whether it's a playable unit, generic enemy or boss, it's a good way to save storage space. It's also why unique/personalized sprites of these classes feel more special.
@@demonking41-l8j I see my reputation precedes me, tbh I never really noticed it though it is funny now that I think of it. (I’m talking about the palettes)
@@ethan0248910 Yeah, he’s useful up until chapter 9 where other units benefit more from the insane exp and only really becomes relevant when he promotes in chapter 21 (or 21x depending on if you got the gaiden chapter of not)
It's Rutger man. Best boss killer! I thought for sure I'd hit at least 1 Light Brand attack against his Hand Axe with Roy. FE6 throne bonuses are wild!
The final boss Idunn can only be fought if Roy and company collect all the legendary weapons. If not, the game ends after Zephiel, and you get a bad ending.
I think I've seen a video of Caeda vs. every boss. She's probably the best boss killer because of the Wing Spear. As well, I did a boss video of Shadow Dragon on Hard 1. I think it's a nice chill game.
@@ethan0248910 I would be more enthusiastic about it if the minimum number of characters needed for the gaiden chapters wasn't so low. And if the art style was different.
Yeah I feel you on that one. What makes the game a little boring to me is its UI. It's kinda ugly with the brown menus. New Mystery is way better with blue menus.
@@ethan0248910 I would have liked if that game was released in the west. We would have had another game for the DS and the guys were pretty cute. But I wish Draug looked more like he does in FEH.
Si se da el caso en que se me muere un personaje reseteo la partida, de todos modos toma menos tiempo ejecutar una estrategia para ganar, lo unico que podria arruinar esi sería el factor "suerte"
Just finished playing through the JP ver. on NSO... who tf are half of these bosses. As far as I can see, Zephier is the last boss. Who the fuck is Echidna??? Is the fan localized ROM just filled with extra fan content or something?
Oh man, you guys have Binding Blade on Japanese NSO?? That's awesome!! Zephiel is the last boss only if you don't have all legendary weapons in your convoy. Echidna is a character exclusive only if you went to chapter 11: Hero of the Western Isles. You probably recruited Geese. In FE6, you can play 1 of 2 different versions of chapter 11, depending on what village you visited in chapter 9. If you have all legendary weapons by the time you beat Zephiel, you can play about 3 more chapters for the true ending.
That'd be sweet! If you're interested, Mekkah is doing a playthrough of FE6 with Lyn programned into the game. You can check here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kHmBn1SXzAM.html
