This video contains all of the animations whilst using swords in Fire Emblem Engage. Magic swords share the same animations as each other only with the particle effects/magic effects being different. Those are weapon animations however so are not included separately in this.

Fogado holds onto his horse's neck and does a swinging kick to stun the enemy before finishing with a sword. Honestly rather unique.

@Langley's Enterprise Aaah, that's what I wanted so bad! We were robbed, ROBBED. For multiple reasons! - Design screams protagonist - Actually goes through character development. - Has a compelling relationship with his brother, father, and retainers. - He actually fits the world of Fire Emblem. - His voice is SMEXY (Haha, a me thing, but he is voiced very excellently). And most of all. I actually gave a shit about him and his anxiety after chapter 10. There's probably more reasons, but he's pretty much the Fire Emblem protagonist I wanted for a long time. I want another Ike so bad, but we keep getting the avatar over and over and over...

It is the only reason I always class Alear as Swordmaster. Being nonoptimal be damned. But in all seriousness, I wish Alear still had the dragon trait even outside of Divine Dragon. Sometimes missing out on the Dragon bonuses for emblems sucks.

I think you might have missed one, I use Céline a lot and notice when she crits with a Levin Sword in her Vidame class she holds it with both hands, unlike other foot units with magic swords, not exactly a huge difference but a technically unique animation

I did record that but I thought it was practically identical. I agree that maybe I should've done it but I didn't want to make the video too long and there's so little difference due to the camera work being identical

woahh so excited to see the rest of these when they come out, they have so many cool crit animations. My jaw dropped when Lapis jumped off of her horse as a paladin, had to go back frame-by-frame to see how she got back on lol. you should do every emblem engaged with every character at some point!

@BenFM I like to think it's Clanne's idea, personally. It's probably his best class if you intend to have him stay using Magic(which logically you should, considering his spread stats in Str and Mag make him good at that.) Do the magic weapons have unique crit animations regardless of the range they're being used at? Like, for instance, can the normal swordmaster crit animation trigger at all with the levin sword?

From what I’ve seen emblem’s crit animations are the same as engaged crit animations with corresponding weapons. I haven’t seen them all but they do tend to crit a lot in the arena fights so I feel like I’ve seen most.

I think Sigurd might have unique crits, but I’m not sure. Camilla’s Axe crit is the same as the Wyvern Rider Axe crit, but I’m also not sure if her magic crit

The swordmaster animation is really weak, it feels kind of lazy in comparison. If one slash turned into several it would have bee great, but instead the sword doesnt leave the sheate.
