Birthright is gentle, loving while Nohr is harsh and abrupt, just like the countries it's supposed to represent. Although ironically the Royals (besides the youngest each) have the exact opposite mindsets. Ryoma, Hinoka and Takumi are very aggressive and feel somewhat a bit cold-ish while the Nohrians are more loving and gentle towards each other. But alas, i really prefer the upbeat nohrian Version too. I hope Nintendo will release a full version of this Song, it'd be glorious.
The beat, lyrics and choreography overall have a lot more of personality than birthright, not saying birthright doesnt have it, but this version just tops it a lot, plus her dress is a lot more captivating

Anyelow Anyelou It takes a lot of work and talent to pull off an editing like that. I have seen several attempts to edit Garon out, but this is the first which successfully mutes it out altogether. The only real suggestion I have is perhaps adding a slight fade in the repeat of the audio right around 0:38, or perhaps using about .1 seconds longer on the beginning of the track, since it cuts over pretty fast, but it is still not very noticeable. But again, I appreciate you taking the effort to make it; I have been looking for it for quite some time now.

You know, when one considers Anankos wrote Lost in Thoughts All Alone about his child Corrin and Azura is mainly using it to attempt to return Garon to normal/expose hm for the monster that Anankos has turned him into, I feel that Azura is also using this verse of the song calls out Corrin for choosing Nohr over Hoshido. Even though she is disguising herself, there are undertones of Azura's anger/disappointment/disgust in Corrin's choice. If one remembers, Corrin choosing Nohr over Hoshido had completely ruined Azura's life in the latter nation (she is reintroduced being kidnapped by Haitaka and his anti-Nohrian forces due to Azura being placed under heavy suspicion when Corrin refused Hoshido, who planned to execute her in Fort Dragonfall, but lucked out when Corrin's army came passing through), gave Takumi (who never trusted her prior to Corrin's return, has no reason to, now and was now starting to slip off the deep end and into Anankos' claws) an excuse to try to kill her, resulted in her being hand-delivered back in a fallen Garon's clutches (and through him Anankos), had to survive Ryoma's ambush at a medical checkpoint (when Ryoma was so broken by Corrin's betrayal that he was perfectly willing to let a sick and helpless Elise DIE if Corrin refused to come home) painted the target of many Nohrians' hatred once more on her back (something that gave her serious physical and emotional scars), and she then was forced to watch as Corrin and Camilla (mainly Camilla since she knows her father's wrath, but Corrin was devastated by it) refused to put their foot down to Hans and prevent the Cheve Massacre from being as bad as it was. Listening to the song, one can tell Azura's angry. The tone of Azura's voice is rather stern compared to her normal singing voice, almost like she's scolding someone. The pitch is slightly higher, almost like she's yelling... something she normally doesn't like to do. The tempo she performs at is a much faster frequency than her usual song, which shows how she wants to get her point across. Her steps and movements are harder and faster, too, like she's trying to hit something. And the verse she chooses, starting with "Embrace the Dark you call a home", sounds like she's saying, "You indirectly caused your mother's death to kickstart this war, you willingly chose the dark path, you're causing all of this senseless bloodshed to the one home I've known for YEARS, you're preparing to fight your own birth family, and now you're making me help you destroy it and all that is good. I hope you're happy with yourself, Corrin."

God, I love the animation amd effects in this scene. Seriously think that this game was highly under rated amd deserved a better shot. I understand the criticisms dont grt me wrong, but from what came out it, I think its fantastic

I love the power she has in her voice. Like you can feel the strength of her words. Which is a wonderful contrast with the Birthright version which is more calming

😂😂😂 I never played Conquest and came in here completely out of context and had the whole video on mute, and it genuinely looks like Azura making strong sexual gestures while Garon struggles not to burst 😂 I was not trying to see it that way but goddamn this got me rolling on the floor laughing "Are you kidding me?"
This song is so good but I can't listen to it w/o physically cringing anymore bc I chose this song to perform in drama class. It was for a mime thing I think and we were supposed to act to the song. instead of practicing and doing it normally I forget abt it and walk in the next class like 'oh shit'. So when it was my turn I just did orange justice for the entirety of the song. The entire class had this 😶 face the entire time and when I finished I sobbed in the corner for the rest of the class. Surprisingly I'm not a social outcast.

I love this better than the Birthright version of the Nestra chapter. However, even though I know Azura is trying to disguise herself (and Corrin and the Nohrian army is given a MASSIVE idiot ball so she can pull THIS off, and that plus the fact that Corrin NEVER calls her out on attempting such a plan without informing them put numerous innocent lives in danger really grinds my gears), I can’t help feel Azura is calling Corrin out for their decision to side with the Nohrian army. Don’t believe me? The lyrics of Fates’ main theme (that Azura cannot stop singing, even though it will kill her) were specifically written by Anankos specifically about Corrin, with this being the second verse. Knowing the lyrics are about Corrin, Azura is pointing out that Corrin, despite seeing the good of Hoshido and knows that Nohr’s leadership is made up of violent monsters who will dispose of Corrin and the Nohrian royals the second they either step out of line or outlive their usefulness to them (the Anankos-possessed Garon, Iago, Hans, and Zola), DELIBERATELY chose Nohr, an action that ACTUALLY had consequences for Azura. Case in point, she was kidnapped by Hoshidan radicals and nearly murdered by them, specifically because Corrin jumped ship for Nohr. Now, for her own survival (if nothing else), Azura is forced to return to Nohr, a place that was Hell for her growing up because of the Nohrian court. I’d be a little upset at Corrin for this if I was in Azura’s non-existent shoes. Add in the fact that Corrin’s mother, Mikoto, literally died and left the White Throne empty (since Ryoma refuses to take his title as king until the end of Birthright and Revelation), and Corrin is helping the Nohrians conquer the country Azura came to love (small examples like Takumi and Saizo aside, the Hoshidans are pretty affable with Azura), Azura has EVERY right to be pissed at Corrin and hate them, so this song feels like she’s venting because it would be (as far as the writers were concerned) greatly out of character if she, Corrin’s biggest plot-central confidant, actually voiced her disgust for Corrin’s choices.
