1:36 I feel like Part 2 is where the characters get to shine the most in the story, I think. Though on a repeat playthrough I can admit it's rather tedious to not even get a healer to train up or sth. Part 2 is definitely filler. Though I am not against stuff like that, since interesting stuff still happens on it. Honestly, the big stinker for me is 2-3, and on a smaller scaler 2-2, 2-1, and 2-P. 2-P is honestly pretty painless, and I love the sky aesthetic. 2-1 I really like the farming assets and the chicken sounds they used. I love the resounding echo in 2-2, and I love how each character really feels like they want to be, and ahave a reason to be there in 2-Endgame. Yeah, I'm never looking forward to 2-3 on repeat playthoughs, though...
I do not disagree with any of that. I appreciate that they gave Brom and Nephenee their moment. Even if it was mainly in the beginning. It was definitely a way to push the story forward as a lead up to part 3. Story wise part 2 is really good, admittedly I haven’t played through it in ages. I’m definitely going to have to do a normal playthrough on or off screen. Story wise radiant dawn and path of radiance are my favorites.
Random tangent, this chapter would look outright gorgeous in HD, imo. I really hope the eventual remake will do it justice.🥹 Also, I am so sad that Marcia did not get a distinct boss quote against Zeffren here, given how much they interact at the beginning of the map. :( 20:30 I love how Hard-Mode Radiant dawn just gives you so little experience that not even Boss kills can help you that much XD
I agree, make it feel more natural. And I have worries about a remake. To be honest I didn’t notice a lack of boss quote, of course I do not remember who I had take him out. Yeah one thing I noticed playing through it, none of the experience in part 2 is really worth much effort. Definitely not worth a grinding attempt.
@@polarisguild Yeah, there is very little room for deviation on the side of the player. There are only some slight diffences you can have during repeat playthoughs of Part 2. In today's day and age, who doesn't feel nervous when it's time for the umpteenth remake? :(
