@@LittleMissZackyVee yea i talked to every student week one on my golden deers first time playing and only he joined me everyone else wanted stuff XD he just wanted the lady xD
Your skills description for Lysithea is incorrect. She doesn't gain double exp, she gains double skill level ups, so she'll reach class skills faster and the like, but her exp is not double.
He made another mistake with felix too, saying that his hidden talent increased avoid instead of crit. I feel like he is doing this on purpose. Regardless, important pieces of information regarding the characters has been mis-delivered.
The video is full of misinformation, honestly. The class skill, the Warlock recommendation, saying assassin's are better than Swordmaster at criticals? Recommending ANYTHING other than Bow Knight for Leonie?
@@michaelcaban1749 funny thing is that i put her as fortress knight just because she always complains about carrying heavy stuff, but she totally wrecked as that class and i'm like what the hell gurl?!
Sylvain pairs REALLY well with Leonie. He has the male version of her skill, so putting them together does wonders. Also he's free if you're female Byleth lmao
@@spritelady4669 True but the Cethleann staff can be used by people without Crests, so any mage can use it. Thyrsus can only be used by Lysithea and Lorenz because of their Crest of Gloucester, and I don't know about you but I'd rather give the relic to a lovable unit that also deals insane damage rather than the worst character in the game, easily outdone by Lysithea
I knew Lysithea was a beast when I accidentally put her on a spot where she would be attacked by 3 enemies.. She dodged all 3 of them and 1 hit kod them in return... *insert shocked Pikachu face*
That's exactly what happened when I got Petra for the Blue Lions. Her critical chance with crit ring is absurd. With sword avoid+20 I can confidently put her in what would be certain death for Byleth or Dimitri and have her come out completely unscathed often scoring 2+ kills. She's absolutely broken in my playthrough
If that wasn't enough doing Lorenz paralogue gets you his relic weapon which one of her crests is compatible making her a freaking rail gun. It expands her magic range by 2 additional range.
Just want to point out that Lysithea's ability applies to class XP not character XP. This means she'll unlock her class masteries very fast especially once you get the statue buff that doubles class XP. It does not mean she'll level up super quickly.
I'm just gonna make him an assassin and leave him at that. Unfortunately I only recently learned of his Mortal Savant potential and it's too late to start investing in Reason now :(
I recruited Dorothea to have a 2nd healer (and now dancer, which in retrospect doesn't really line up as well with her personal skill as being a singer would imply). I don't need any more death machines, I already got Claude and Byleth and especially Hilda. I don't think Hilda has ever been missing more than 10 hp come to think of it.
@@YourCrazyDolphin Claude is very nice, my Hilda started out really weak but she some how became one of best trops (made her the master wyvern rider class) I knew I need another in your face fighter cause deer is about range so i randomly went with Felix not knowing he is top 5 in the game for students.
@@1hardyparty Wyvern Rider is female exclusive. She can be Pegasus knight, though that isn't exactly a front-line class (though if her defense growths on my file aren't coming from becoming a knight, it could work).
@@1hardyparty immediately after referring to Hilda you said "made her the master wyvern rider class". There is literally nothing else you could be referring to based on context.
@@kungfumaster298 yea any lance user can do it too, using Kightkiller. Buy a silver lance or craft a steel+ and have 20 str on a character. one shots him.
For sure. It's been awesome having her able to take down the Death Knight on her own each time he has appeared. I fear that that won't be possible on other playthroughs Xp
Travis Mattson you can just recruit her from the Golden Deer. You just need to get to Support level B with her and she’ll join you on the Blue Lions of Black Eagles
@@BenRiley83 That's true but that might be tricky to do before his very first appearance and besides I've really enjoyed sticking to the default characters in each house (still near the end of my Golden Deer playthrough), and I've recruited a bunch of units from other houses but haven't really used them since I have loved the way the default characters have turned out.
Add the Thyrsus Staff (she can use it due to Gloucester crest) and this girl becomes a Magical Howitzer of Death (Gives her a whopping +3 Range) with the added topping of built in Pavise/Aegis, which has a chance to half incoming damage
FYI Lysithea can use Levin Sword which changes sword attacks to magic and makes her one of the most amazing sword users as a mortal savant (plus soul blade will one-shot more or less everything)
I highly recommend you guys check out mangs channel with his character previews he gives a brief description of each character their strengths and weaknesses as well as what would be recommended to make them in terms of their class.
Ahhh i love Fire emblem😆 i remember those days when i bait and weaken the enemies just so my favorite character could do the finishing blow and get all the juicy exp.😂😂😂
Felix is an absolute power house, especially when you make him a mortal savant. Also Mercedes is probably the best healer you can get in the game, mainly for her ability in my opinion.
rmills922 Ugh, she’s my worst character. Every time she levels up she only gets 2-3 stat boosts. I just bench her and use Flayn instead unless I’m on a map where I need two healers.
My Marianne had the power of RNG and God by her side and would be getting insane stat growths, later on I learned she had the second highest BST, just behind the MC by 4 points.
YES MERCEDES! I went with Blue Lions my first playthrough, so going from her to any other healer just feels like a direct downgrade. Not that the other are bad, Mercedes is just so incredibly good.
Soulblade is a sword combat art that is based on the magic stat. Lysithea's Charon crest is likely intended to be used with it. There's a couple other arts like this, but I don't believe she gets access to them any ways. Warlock is not an equal choice to Gremory for her, as Black and Dark magic are different skills. Lysithea uses Dark Magic, but Warlock buffs Black. Fortunately Warlock does get access to a basic Fire Spell and buffs it with its other skills, but she has better magic to be using in many situations and would rather get double dark uses and +1 Mov from Gremory.
I feel like Lysithea’s budding sword talent was a hint that she should be a Mortal Savant. Unfortunately, the class just doesn’t seem that great. The movement boost over Warlock is nice, but I’d rather make her a Gremory if anything so she can spend a turn to Warp people when she can’t reach a target.
Mercedes is the best healer because she's one of the few characters that can gain fortify and her high magic makes it have huge range. Her personal skill is nice but she should not be taking damage in the first place.
Honestly so far I don't think there is an particularly awful characters. Everyone is great at something and it feels like you're better off recruiting your favorites. I would however recommend recruiting Sylvain before finishing chapter 5. He has unique dialog in that story mission. He shouldn't be hard to recruit either I was able to do so like 2 chapters prior to chapter 5.
I'd say Raphael is one that disappointed me the most, as much as I love him to death, he really suffers from his very specialised growth rates wich are actually not that high. Sylvain, as an example has: 55 HP 45 Str 30 Mag 35 Dex 50 Spd 35 Lck 40 Def 25 Res 40 Cha and has an awesome personal skill. It makes him a very balanced and beastly fighter, and he can even be a decent dark mage with the mage/dark mage/dark bishop stat growth bonus. In contrast, Raphael is 65 50 15 35 15 35 45 10 25 So he's got just a bit more HP, for pretty much everything on par or worsse than Sylvain. His Lck is the same even though his skill relies on it heavily too. Most of the class he has easy access to don't really buff his stat growth enough to counter these overall bad stats too. And really, so far he's the only character I think is underwhelming. (I haven't tinkered with them all yet though, so there's that.) Oh. And Cyril, whose personal skill end up just being here to counter his abysmal stat growth to put him at the level of other characters. Without even a crest, and wich end up making him not having any usefull personal skill for combat.
@@RandomQuestNPC Raphael makes for a pretty good heavy armored knight. His high HP and decent strength is pretty balanced with the defence gains from the heavy armor.
@@RandomQuestNPC Raphael was easily my weakest character as a commoner and in the beginner classes, however, turning him into a Brawler with Weight-3 from the Heavy Armor skill made him much more palatable to use.
You can also make an argument for Dorothea and Ingrid. Dorothea has a budding talent in faith, which makes her a great all around magic user, and learns Physic, that spell is always useful, she’s also basically a shoo in as the team dancer. If you need a flier my personal choice is Ingrid. She gets a relic, and her speed is absolutely insane!!! Her strength isn't that great, but Ingrid in my current Church playthrough has been magic blessed. Ingrid's skills make her a great Wyvern Lord; Falcon knight also works just fine. Edit: if you lose your mages, Ingrid is a fantastic backup option. Physic, Fimbulvetr, Thoron, and Seraphim are among her spells.
I've been having a blast with Raphael as a fighter->grappler. Most of the time he does the most dmg unarmed. He can attack 4 times with high crit chance. Absolutely rips and tears through a crowd.
@@Relinquished404 Brigand to war master is insane, since brigand mastery gives Deathblow. This is such an easy path to pull off and it's just so strong
I chose golden deer and here are the best recruitable characters I've got by far. 1. Lysithea, one shots every monster with seraphim 2. Felix, insane damage and shield relic to makeup for his defenses 3. Raphael, weak at first but as a war master hits 4x with gauntlets with a 35 chance for crit each time. 4. Leonie, make her a bow knight Honestly all the students in golden deer are good. They synergize better than the other houses imo
alosha4321 funny, when I recruited Marianne to Black Eagles it was around the time of the dancing Festival... Made her a dancer and she was great at it
There is some misinformation in this video (like Felix Budding, which grants 10 to crit chance, not avoid.) You also haven't looked at spell list, or taken into consideration weight. For example, Lysihea learns Warp with Faith, a skill that cannot be overlooked, and Dark Spikes T, the single best spell at killing the Death Knight. Or how Raphael isn't very fast, but can end up still getting quad attacks due to how light fisticuffs are, and how gauntlets get a self heal ability with zero duration cost. It isn't a terrible list, but you definitely didn't five deep enough.
I second this, and was quite surprised when Raphael wasn't on the list. I'm only midway into the story, but Raphael can kill nearly anything as a grappler, and this isn't even his final form (War master)
I mean, I'm not saying Raphael is top five, just that his list seems shallow on basis. He basically looked at stat growths and personals without any other considerations, include what house you're recruiting to. I definitely think Lysithea, Felix, and Leonie are all great contenders though. Leonie, in particular, has been an absolute stud for me.
I'm with you on taking movesets and skills into consideration. Honestly tho I wouldn't consider Raphael since he's so slow. Maybe if we reclaimed him into a wyvern since he has an axe affinity if I'm not mistaken.
Yep, I did too. Natural healer, natural riding skill, and a budding talent in lances - not that I was using them much at the end when I was just spamming Nosferatu and Aura on everything, with the occasional Silence. Marianne is super versatile when she goes Holy Knight - a good ranged attack, healing, mobility, what more could you want?
That's so weird!! I'm playing Golden Deer and already recruited Felix, Petra, and Mercedes already because they seemed most likable to me. Glad I have a good taste in growth rates lol
Lol Gremory is Lysithea's best class but I had her play around with Assassin before... Gave her Vantage/Defiant Mag/Sword and Bow Proficiency as well as the Levin Sword/Magic Bow. Once she got under 50% hp, literally nobody was able to touch her because she ended their lives before they got the chance
The only way Lysithea can make use of her Charon crest is if she uses a magic weapon like a Levin sword, but it's ok to just ignore it. Her Gloucester crest is much more important. Also her Mastermind skill only increases her WEAPON EXP, which is important to differentiate from her normal level exp.
superdawge Alternatively, her hidden talent in swords allows her to use her magic stat to do a magic sword attack. Which is both the criteria for using the crest and making it useful. Honestly though, I still just use magic on her 99% of the time, its a good fallback though.
Dedue is OP as heeeell.. why is he not on the list is baffling! He got the skill to boost defense on wait which is op.. and give the guy gauntlets and he mows down ememies
@@Jrpg_guy dedue already has big defense and hp and his skill to add +def. I think he would be better as a warrior then warmaster.. armored knights move super slow anyway.. he doesnt need that extra defense

@@williamromero5784 I know nothing about the game yet and was just recapping the video. I just started playing it for a few hours and was trying to get some info before starting. Maybe I'll go with your suggestion on my play thru.
Petra should be in Wyvern Lord instead. She has a natural talent in axes and flying and the lance req is pretty lenient. I found the choices in this video to be decent, but he either didn't go into detail or his explanations were subpar at best.
@@domc8089 My Petra was an assassin now turned dancer. She may not do a lot of damage per hit, but with a killing edge+ she crits basically twice a turn and I don't think I've had an axe enemy even capable of hitting her for the past 7 or 8 missions. Even swords, bows and lances tend to have really low hit chance against her. With a brave sword and a crit chance of 30-40 basically as standard she always attacks 4 times and usually crits at least twice. I know I probably should've made her a wyvern lord but I got her as a thief so decided to stick with that route.
There's a relic that increases black magic range by 2. At A+ or S rank (I forget which) in black magic, you unlock a skill that increases it further by 1. Lysithea can now rain down death from so far away that not even enemy snipers can fight back should they survive the first hit.
@@Zadonitz Seriously. During the church route, Bernadetta and Seteth were my mvps every time except for once or twice with Sylvain, as you get him easy as f!Byleth.
Good vid man, Three Houses is my first FE so this is super helpful! Playing on Classic mode cause everyone online said to but i'm shook before every single battle
Dan Murawski don’t feel bad if you need to play it on an easier difficulty! Fe veterans tend to go classic hard. But don’t let your enjoyment of the game be ruined by the need to play classic.
@@TheSkittypink There's no excuse to not play on Hard Classic with the rewind mechanic now being added and saves you when you die or if you don't want someone to. All else fails we reset the game as we always have.
My top 5: - Mercedes, Best healer - Leonie, Most versatile character aside from Byleth (except in the magic department) - Ashe, Built-in Locktouch is Awesome. - Dorothea, Meteor and best Dancer - Petra, she’s just OP as a flying unit. - Honorable mention: Raphael and Felix, Raphael is best boy and great heavy unit and Felix is just your Navarre on steroids. Of course, there are many good options and “best” options depending on the house you picked. For instance, if you picked Black Eagles there is no real need to replace Linhardt for Mercedes as “main healer” since Linhardt on his own is still an amazing healer and you do get more healers along the way, plus Dorothea having access to Physic and a budding talent in Faith does help a lot. So there is no real “need” to Recruit Mercedes in this particular case.
AzureRoxe Well yeah, Mercedes is the best healer of the game, but I believe that there is no real rush or need to recruit her if you went with BE since Linhardt is still a very good healer and it’s not like you’re gonna have a lack of potentially good or decent healers along the way. Like I said, Dorothea works as a secondary healer just fine anyways, plus she can nuke people. Yes, Mercedes is the best healer, but she’s not the only healer. Also you should try Wyvern Lord Petra with a bow after mastering Pegasus Knight. You won’t regret it.
Yeah Petra is an op WyvernLord but for real, Lysithea is the biggest Powerhouse in the game and i consider her the best unit because she oneshoted everyone for me besides the final boss but that aint no problem either.
@@FabschOblivion669 I benched Dorothea after Timeskip cause she was just not good anymore, maybe i was just unlucky with magic griwths but she was really lacking. Besides what do you need versitality for if your unit oneshots everyone amd everything?
Plasmaboy Trust me when I say that Meteor is fun to one-shot bosses and versatility is great when one of your healers isn’t available for that turn. She makes for a great secondary healer, plus she makes for a good dancer. Also yes, you probably got unlucky with magic growths since my Dorothea had 36 Magic by the end of the game.
Two MAJOR corrections to Lysithea: 01. Her ability doubles skill and class exp gain, NOT level exp 02a. You've severely underestimated the budding ability, Soulblade - it's a sword skill that counts as a magic attack and increases your damage based off your RES. 02b. Because it's a magic attack the target's RES is used to defend against the damage check so it's very useful for things like heavy armored enemies. 02c. If your Lysithea's RES is low then you are somehow using her wrong. 02d. Paired with the Levin Blade this attack basically 1-shot-kills 90% of all enemies and tbh still kills roughly 75% with a basic sword.
or you could just use any of her normal spells. it isn't very useful. Make her a Gremory and she literally gets like 20 uses of every spell in the game. and she has WARP. TWO USES OF WARP. with her magic stat so high you can turn one finish most chapters.
A couple things to note: Some classes also give bonuses to growth rates, making things lysithea's low res growth and felix low mag easier to deal with. Master the warrior class will grant the wrath ability, which grants +50 crit if HP< 50% Alternatively reaching higher authority ranks can grant some characters battalion wrath which does the same, except your battalion has to be low/dead. Really good synergy with Felix and Catherine. Baring magic, there's only really one prf weapon in the game (weapons "locked" to one person). That means you can trade hero relics, like Thunderbrand, around without losing anything but a special combat art. In my BL playthrough I gave it to mortal savant Felix and watched the enemies cry.
I'd totally love more fire emblem vids! A video on growth rates, maybe including the units from three houses and what the best class choice for each of them would be
He ended as a great knight for me, but I wish I had watched his magic, since it ended up super high for me. I had Lorenz to fill that role though, so it worked out.
I liked Dorthea from Black Eagles a lot too just for her passive. Good to have your whole team surround her as she blasts people with magic. And she gets meteor, which is OP in terms of range.
As a rep of the Blue Lions, I can say that Felix regularly solos large groups. Dude's a psycho. I've been recruiting characters based on whether I like them rather than their stats. So far I've gotten Dorothea, Raphael, Leonie and am working towards Petra and that will be everyone I'm after currently. Also, I think CHA is Charisma, not Charm, just fyi.
How far are you into the game? I just got to chapter 4 and i dont think im anywhere near being able to recruit. Maybe im not doing enough seminars and teacher training.
I have never liked Generals class in FE. They are super slow and mostly unreliable. But i gotta say, dedue is the best General i had the pleasure of using. This guy actually takes 0 damage from most of physical sources. Even in the blue lions final boss he kept taking 0 damage. And is not completely killed by magic like most generals, he can take a hit or two at least. Bro this guy got put to one by myson in the final battle and he survived 5 units plus a monster no problem, and one shot all but the monster. And absolute legend.
I know it probably doesn't count (because lord), but dear God, Dimitri is absolutely monstrous. Honestly, one of the most dangerous characters in the series IMO, and that's including the ridiculous possibilities of Awakening grinding.
Best boy Sylvain is a monster as a Wyvern Lord - I recruited him for my second play though and he literally destroys everything. He and Lysithea are two amazing characters that I'm so glad I picked up. From Black Eagles (the house I chose for both playthroughs thus far because of the split), I love Ferdie, Bernie, Caspar, and Dorothea - all of them pack a lot of power I can send them off and not worry about them dying.
I managed to get 100% crit with Petra (with a Killing Edge and the Swordmaster passive) which absolutely annihilated some of those big evil beasts. She's an actual queen
I'll have to disagree with you on Lysithia's mid to late game class. Dark Knight serves her needs much better than warlock offensively. The class has black and dark tome fare by default meaning you don't need to max out reason magic while canto is insanely useful since you can nuke a target and retreat out of harm's way. Holy Knight is a handy pocket class for 1 hit killing monsters as she learns seraphim when you teach her faith magic. Yes she doubles but if she cam 1 shot ko, she can save used. Gremory is better suited to desert maps as they're not slowed by sand tiles. Plus the extra magic uses can come into clutch depending on the map.
Gremory is better suited as it can use both white and black magic, allowing you to have TWO uses of warp and has a higher magic cap than the other three options allowing for turn 1 clears.
It is map dependant tho so you're not entirely wrong for using gremory, I know I used that class because it was available at the time. But in most cases it is much better move in further and warp the desired unit further into the map as opposed to using it twice. Especially if you need to briefly enter enemy range to pull it of and canto out. The gremory cap is overkill and dark knight makes up for with in built tomefares. The double uses are handy only in low mobility terrain where in that case, foot mages can easily traverse and the double warp is just as handy.
@@AussieBeef54099 While, true, I just found no use for mobility when I can Turn one warp Dance Warp again and end the map. using Manuela to warp Lys to my hyper carry and wap the hyper carry a second time to the end.
I personally started with Petra going into spears and flying. She is now a falcon knight and a complete power house. Flying across the map and finishing foes off easily.
First thing it’s Ly-Sith-E-Ah and yea she’s a casting monster. I’m GD in my first play through and she doubles with 50-60 dmg with magic it’s insane. She also makes a nice Mortal Savant as well. Also Leonie is an AMAZING Falcon Knight props there for hat unit.
In my opinion Dorrothea and hilda should’ve appeared on this list somewhere because they are both amazingly strong recruitments that make your team a whole lot stronger
I'm SO mad I didn't try this. I didn't even think of getting my Lysithea close to him, despite her being an absolute powerhouse. Very disappointed, will for sure do in my next playthrough
Caspar as a war master managed to hit a crit nearly every time because 1) his crit chance was nearly 50 or so every time he fought, and 2) i gave him gauntlets and he was super speedy meaning he got 4 total hits, 2 before the opponent could retaliate, therefore giving him a much better chance at getting a critical hit (like 75% average in all)
I would be insane to say that Lysithea isn’t one of the best characters in the game. That said, my playstyle doesn’t work with her horrible defenses. I’d love to use her, but I can’t seem to use low defense units in any kind of game.
i mostly recruit people i want to survive tbh..... black eagles: bernadetta and dorothea blue lions: annette and felix golden deer: lysithea and raphael
I would snag Ingrid too, she can do everything except maybe fortress Knight, she makes a great off tank if you go with Paladin. She can also cast and heal extremely well.
Mercedes in my first play through I made her a Gremory, she could literally cover the entire map with Physic and she reliably dodged melee attackers only to turn around and double them. She was an absolute beast and I will always recruit her no matter what house I choose.
I chose Golden Dear and so far they are all amazing. Hilda has one shot almost everyone from the beginning with her axe, and Lysithea just nukes anything with a pulse.
Dorothea is very powerful as well. Bernadetta was also useful for me. Lysithea, Felix, and Mercedes are good too. Hanneman is a very good reason magic user as well. Just depends on what you're good with.
A fix/minor clarification to go with the others in the comments -- there's a few magic based combat arts for physical weapons, and nothing restricts a caster class from using a normal weapon (and considering in the very early stages, you can easily burn a half-dozen charges from the single spell you might have, a melee weapon can be useful, if not a bow) Sword -- Hexblade, Soulblade Lance -- Frozen Lance (i know Hubert of the Black Eagles gets this out of his 3 star Lances) Axe -- Lightning Axe Gauntlets -- Mystic Blow
Felix: Mortal Savant + goddess ring Sylvain: Dark Knight + crit ring Annette: Gremory + magic staff Cyril: Wyvern Lord + prayer ring Ingrid: Falcon Knight + evasion ring = literally untouchable Ashe: Bow Knight + accuracy ring Dorothea: Warlock + magic staff Mercedes: Dancer + Rafail’s gem Gilbert: Great Knight + Hexlock Shield *Flayn: Holy Knight + magic staff Besides Dmitri, MC and Dedue this was the god tier line up for my blue lions playthrough, never lost a single character
Felix is better as the best physical class, wyvern lord because flying his incredible damage output with really high strength, spd and good def around is amazing. Sylvain is way better in any class that gives Lancefaire and the most str because of lance of ruin and swift strikes. 5 crit is a waste of an item slot in my opinion. Anette is fine as a gremory but her white magic list is lacking so I'd go dark knight (movement is the best stat in the game) Falcon knight is bad Wyvern Lord, but it's definitely easier to get falcon for ingrid, and lancefaire is good for her relic. She will need effective weapons to do any meaningful damage in FK. Dorothea is fine as a warlock, 2 meteor uses is nice. Gremory and dark knight are also good options. She's also a great dancer. Mercedes is great as a dancer, other options are gremory (most gremories also make good dancers) Great knight is much much better than fortress knight so props for getting him out of that class, you should give war master a try, it's actually ridiculous Flayn has a good white and black spell list so I'd recommend gremory (and/or dancer) You didn't mention their classes but Dedue is a great War Master (honestly hope you tried this), dimitri is good in whatever physical class you put him in - probably paladin/great knight for lancefaire, Byleth seems to be more physically designed so Wyvern Lord, Paladin, Mortal Savant, Assassin (if you really need the speed) are all great classes for them
That looks like my set up! How was sylvain as DK? I'm trying to get his reason to A to get him to Dark bishop so he can master it, he has already mastered dark mage, and I'm ranking up his riding skill quickly because I started somewhat late (hes at B). Does he end up being good with magic?
@@joshuahaught4812 tbf anyone can be good with magic because res is non existent, sylvain is fairly quick and pretty strong. His best asset is access to the very rare art swift strikes. This allows him to hit twice (brave effect) with any lance like his relic or an effective lance like horse slayer. As for his sprll list he gets mostly fire spells like fire and bolganone (ingrid mirrors this with ice spells). He doesn't really get anything special as a mage and his mag will probably be low unless you get lucky with level ups. He'll still be good with it because doubling with magic in general is really strong, but I prefer him with lancefaire (which you can get with S+ rank in lances) but that takes a lot longer than just going into paladin
i could pick up catherine on my first playthru (black eagles) without an issue, i think it depends on what happens in holy tomb that decides if you keep her or not
I put a lot of focus into building my Lysithea in my recently completely first playthrough and by the end she was ridiculously powerful (I think she hit over 60mag)! With her cries she would regularly hit 150+ on regular non res focused enemies and even for enemies with high res she learns a spell later on that IGNORES res but the tradeoff is it is really slow (still a great spell to have). To put it into perspective she was able to easily clear near full health bars in a single attack off of the very final boss of my playthrough (won’t spoil what that boss was). Also, any other monsters were an absolute breeze for her almost always one shotting their health bars.
Lysithea was insane in my playthrough, while hilda was everything I needed for melee, just crazy crits all day Also, shamir >>>> catherine, she falls off mid to late game
Do Lorenz' paralogue quest and the item you get can give lys +2 range to all her damage spells. It's nuts and makes her a great choice to obliterate monsters
I really hate Felix as a character but as a unit he's strong. Also I feel like people are sleeping on Dedue. Maybe I got lucky but mine had insane strength and defense, but also got a ton of speed rolls. Guy was damn near unkillable.
@@tinylittlemildred True, I just think people were crapping on him before the game came out and he's a bloody monster. Also has become one of my favorite characters.
Lysithea gets 2x skill experience, which is OP but it's something to be clear about. She still levels at the same pace as everyone else, you just get faster class growth.
Dorothea is monstrous if you don't mind pumping her full of MAG boosting items or save-scumming a little for MAG/SPD growth. She's essentially Lucius on crack, sporting Thoron (Oh god), Sagittae and METEOR. I've ended so many assassination maps on turn 1 just by Warping her with Lin and nuking the boss from halfway across the map.
