Mh.... Corrin is represented WAAAAAAAAY better in Fire Emblem Warriors (in terms of character) and in the Smash Bros series (in terms of fighting skills) than she was in her own game.... I'm thinking that Tecmo Koei and Masahiro Sakurai were fully awared that she was such a weak character in Fire Emblem Fates, so they took the chance and gave her a much better representation in their respective games. When someone portrays a character far better than its original creator...

Because of never playing Fates, I never understood the hate Corrin received from the fan base. Warriors was my first personality interaction with her that I had and I didn’t see anything wrong with her character. Is she just bland in Fates?

@@Umbra_The_DinoDog The fact you haven't played Fates pretty much explains why you're confused on the matter. If you played it and compared her with the Warriors' counterpart you would see they are pratically two completely different characters. Saying that she's bland in her origin game would be an euphemism. Fates' Corrin is one of the worst protagonists ever...

@@Yammers Fun fact: when I play Smash Bros, I trend to pretend that the Corrin in the game is the one from Warriors, not the one from Fates. I really like her Moveset in the Smash series, and at the same time, I also really like her design. As such I want to appreciate her portrayal as well, but the Fates one is just... dreadful. So I pretend she's the one from Warriors instead, since she's likeable in it. ;-)

@@grayfox4819 Its less that Fates Corrin was a separate character from this and more that Corrin is simply a character who has no business being the main protagonist. Couple that with the entire game playing out Corrin to be the Mary Sue chosen one and you have a recipe for a totally unlikeable character

Yeah Matt Mercer is a really good voice actor. He also voices chrom as well as yusuke from persona 5 and jotaro kujo from jojos bizzare adventure and espio the chameleon from sonic :)

Well yes due to both heroes and warrior's brings characters from the canon stories of fire emblem fates awaking and other canon games in the series so yes Corrin in canon is female male corrin is non canon due to only being an option for the player to choose in fates but other game features her is in canon female so yèa Corrin in canon is female

Sure, but that doesn't make Him gender neutral. Both men and women derive their being from God. It's women that have God's qualities, not the other way around.
