I understand setting the relief pressure at the highest pressure line but if you fit that line down won’t the lower psi lines spike up the pressure that your highest line is set at?
You are on to something… and why gating lines down can be extremely problematic. This is why Rick Brewer advocates for utilizing multiple engines and setting up pressure zones for each apparatus to function in.
Good question. Personally, I prefer to set the relief valve with a dedicated discharge. A side note is to test different relief pressures as you do your morning check out.
