As always 10/10 video and I must say I called it with it being a flamethrower video. The intro was perfect, funny and gives respect to the Greek god robot has always secretly been. Some people are saying the green is a poor choice but I feel like it helped the effects stand out better since the fire effects tend to be dark reds and oranges that can clash on other backgrounds. The info was well presented and some great tips for both sides where given. One disclaimer about using rolls to avoid the fire I will say is that Robot has tons of answers (one include below) for rolls. I would actually recommend more air based evasion going back and up. There is a specific angle where most Robots attacks are not suited for just off the ground and in the air. This either leaves him to prepare with Bombs/lasers or whiffing on aggressive answers in hopes of landing a hit. Other tips from a No Life Robot Main. Flamethrower actually has a decently quick hit-box on activation that catches rolls. Best use of this fact is in the corner after Bound Break on getup if you condition them enough to want to leave the corner. It leaves you at 0 frames if they just stand up and puts them into hit-stun if flipped vs a roll read. Its niche and there is better options but its unexpected and leaves no place to retreat to if whiffed.
So, this actually isn't the video I was telling you about XD I ended up scrapping it for various reasons, but I had acquired all this data on how fire worked, so I decided to make this video with it. I'm glad you liked it. Also, this isn't really a flame thrower video, just a fire video. Otherwise I would have described the flamethrower frame and hitbox data in full detail. Which I still plan to do in the future.
@@YomiLearn I figured it wasnt exactly the video you mentioned BUT I will still take the W since I guessed a part of the topic from your pun. On the flip side I understand the main topic isnt FT itself but I felt a few extra tips for my fellow robots was necessary. Honestly I don't see many robots (myself included) use the FT enough. My specialty is actually frame traps and grapple setups so my grabs as you stated in the video tend to prevent more fire dmg then optimal
hot damn. the intro, the editing, the typography, the script......this is quality stuff. The individual frames are kept simple and clear while your quick transitions and smooth delivery keeps things interesting for the audience. I appreciate the use of colours to emphasize numbers or certain words. And the bgm fits the pacing perfectly. Overall the video has a clean, snappy feel which is as informative and entertaining as it is concise. brilliant work!!
I didn't dislike the style direction you went with the video but I did find the intro a little rough. the red on green Christmas colors are 100% worse than the black and white of previous videos although the kinetic text is always cool, some of the jokes didn't land for me personally but that's likely a me problem. outro also was a miss for me I found the voice change grating but the content of the video was informative.
The intro IS rough. I'll consider the color issue. It wasn't a voice changer, it was an ai voice, but your point still stands. Thanks for the feed back.
I'm experimenting with my video style. Be honest and let me know if you hate it. Edit: Do you dislike this green as the primary color? People are commenting that it's not the best color choice. Does everyone agree with that?
Dude your editing is so damn good tho! Out of all the YOMI Hustle creators you've gotta be the one who's putting the most effort into the presentation by far. I admire your sense of style, I feel like there's a lot of thought being put into making these vids compliment the game's own visual identity while remaining distinct and recognizable as its own thing. Every upload is a delight to watch and, dare I say, inspiring for me as a fellow video editor
Intro hooked me, felt a little long but then you snapped back and moved on, so it felt intentionally jarring instead of plain weird the color scheme didn't bother me until someone pointed it out and then I thought "hm, that's weird" otherwise, it's informative and in-depth as always
What electisity around Robot means and how his Armor works? I like to play him but I still dont get how long it take to armor to reload and even what it supposed to do.
The electricity is just part of the robot's taunt, it literally does nothing atm. When you toggle armor, it means that during your move, getting hit by your opponent (normally) cannot stop you from performing your action. Use this to power through an opponent's attack and hit them yourself. If you use it, you won't get it back unless you hit the opponent. Or use galvanize.
Great video, I liked the intro though it was a little long and calling prometheus a titan God instead of a titan was a lil weird/cumbersome. Bright green is worse than black and white because it contrasts less with the colour of the text and characters making everything less vibrant/poppy.
I do feel like the intro was too much. Apparently, in Greek mythology, it's important to distinguish titans from the other gods, not that it's really relevant in a yomi hustle video. I wouldn't say it's a bright green. Sort of in between bright and dark. Also I intend to keep coloring my videos instead of keeping them black and white to differentiate myself... for the most part.
I chose green because thats the color associated to robot roles in discord servers, excluding the main one ironically. I'm actually saving purple for something specific...
