Those riviera green cups bring to mind that dish ware was given out one piece at a time during the 1930’s free when you went to the movies. My mother had it and that’s how she got it.

It's so funny trying to guess what will you like next!!! When I saw that french clown I remembered that my parents had a french clown ashtray that was over 100 years old. The clown lies on his belly like in Cobra Pose, his head is up looking at you and you put the cigarette ash on his back. It was a very nice porcelain piece!

I completely understand if you can't film while shopping, you are making a living and I get the nemesis thing.

I enjoyed the video, it seems a bit hard for you to enjoy your shopping and only have one hand to look at things, etc. You should do what is comfortable! I like it any way you film it. Except for that upside-down bit!!

I still use my Mother’s waffle iron and sandwich grilled from the 1930s…it is in much better shape than that round one…but nothing does as good a job as it does. I have never even had to repair it.🖤🇨🇦

Hi Scott! I've been watching you with my wife for some time now and we both love your channel,. She has been subscribed for a long time. It finally occurred to me that with the way RU-vid works, I should subscribe as well, even if we always watch together on her computer. So I did, and just wanted to reassure you, that YES, we love when our favorite "historical" shoppers leave the camera rolling. First - You are hysterical. Your inserted clips, snips of info, off-hand comments -- it's all just so enjoyable. It is wonderful to watch something that interests us both, learn things, gasp over "$8.99 GoodWill prices for a broken item??", and laugh together. (I think the empty egg carton is still my favorite.) Second - We know the prevailing "theory" or wisdom or whatever with RU-vid professionals is that videos should be short (I keep hearing "no more than 20 - 25 minutes") because people don't watch longer things. This is not the case for us. Both of us prefer longer videos and get excited when we see something is 40 minutes or more. 20 minutes is fine, but 45 minutes is better as far as we are concerned. So yes, please do keep the camera rolling -- we learn so much, it is interesting to see what is available and what prices are like, and you don't ever have to worry about *trying* to entertain us -- you are a fun personality and your videos are like walking through a store with you, and we love it. :) Thanks for sharing -- please know that you are spreading happiness, which we could all use more of these days. - Alex

I'm not overly fond of the high gloss Hull either. They lost the ability to produce the matte finish in a fire late 40s early 50s. I can't remember. Anyway, I get excited when you run across Hull pieces! Love the show!

I loved shopping along. I’m so happy that you found all of those beautiful turquoise pieces. I just found a 1907 Joseph Heinrich’s glass/ solid copper samovar today at a local thrift shop. I’m so happy to have found such an interesting piece of history.

Regarding speed up or slow down: I think you go at your speed and viewers can speed up or slow down the playback. For example, I usually watch at 2x speed, and that’s to compensate for my ADHD 😉 I enjoy this channel 👍👍

I buy the Garfield mugs to actually use lol 😆 I only keep buying them cause they break ... occasionally. I see my spring blossom there. I'm still on the hunt for a butter dish and the salt and pepper.
