I’m out in the middle of Utah and mine stopped working, I noticed the O ring looking worn out even though I haven’t used it hardly at all, I flipped it around and I was able to use it for dinner tonight until I go to town tomorrow to get some O rings and a backup stove. @@Plantgoddess_ glad I could help. When mine gave out, it ruined my trip.😒. Ive learned that using the jetboil fuel cans works better, and I’ve only had to change the o ring once since this video. So which fuel canisters you use is a factor. Have fun!👍🏾
I keep a lighter and waterproof matches in my gear. The problem here was a faulty o-ring, and now I keep spares in my gear. But I also learned that it was the large fuel canisters that was damaging the o-ring. No issues using the jetboil canisters.
I have this trouble too with my X2 after a couple testing meals in my home, good luck for me that I'm find out in my home instead in the wood. Good luck for your next trip.
Another thing I have found out is, I think it is picky about fuel canisters. I continued having issues using Primus brand fuel canisters. It would damage the o-ring. But I haven’t had any issues at all using Jetboil canisters. O that’s what I will be using from now on. 👍🏾
Interesting, I use Kovea one that destroy my o-ring. Let me get some spare o-rings and test it again to decide to continue with this canister or not. @@Lucrativesoldier

I just ordered one a few minutes ago..BEFORE I found your video...now im scared. I have another "boiler" I love!!! But weeks ago it started acting like it's not getting fuel. Tried 4 seperate cans....won't even light with a bic....NO FUEL COMING FROM CAN TO POT
I think I have the problem figured out. Using the larger can of fuel, it kept ruining the o-ring. But I haven’t had any issues using Jetboil fuel cans. So you should be fine if you only use the small Jetboil fuel. Not sure if they have larger cans and if they work too.👍🏾
