At 19:47 , Backup Charger draws a card into memory, not to hand. Also the powercell is summoned rested but that's a more minor nitpick than the draw thing
When you use Shadow's Claw every Phatasia allies get +1 attack, not all of them gets only +1 attack, am i wrong? 6:00 you give only 7 damage but 3 Shadow token + Grim Forebonding + Shadow's Claw thats 9 damage plusz the Champion 1 damage or did i miss something?
Its not really 6 card since the 4 you get you can only cast. I think Shadowreaver is ok in slower matchup or vs a combo deck but vs something like allies i'd rather just skip it and get the shadows out as soon as you can plus if you want to go for a faster kill you'd also want to skip it.
@Slanik5 yeah but you're materialising into the other level 3 for effectively only 1 card (3 are banished and then you draw 2 new cards) or 0 if you use Dungeon Guide. So you're effectively spending 1 card (or no cards if Dungeon Guide) to draw 4 of your opponent's that you can only cast. That's pretty huge value imo. You're 1 card down in the sense of cards that you can't put into memory, and 4 cards up in terms of cards you can cast
@@FireShadow210 keep in mind playing dungeon guide in itself also costs a card from your hand for a 1/3 unit. whenever you play dungeon guide it is a minus 3 influence, the same as if you were to hard level up by banishing 3. The difference is you get a 1/3 body and can level up outside of materialize phase. Unless you have a lot of floating memory or academy guides, having to lvl up to 3 twice is very expensive. No point in having 4 cards you cant use as reserve cost when your hand size wont even let you play it. On top of that is the randomness of the cards you are getting, when it would be better to just be able to play one of your own cards. Don't get me wrong, shadowreaver has it's uses and can be good at the right time, but more often than not, it's just more efficient to level into dancer.
Hey! Mali here. The one you see playing is Zeppho, so he may have different reasons from mine, but honestly i don't like too much tristan shadowreaver. As explained by others, leveling to lvl3 multiple times will cost you a lot and the randomness from tristan's ability doesn't make it worth fort me. In the next video that we are going to publish you will see a control Tristan playing shadowreaver more often than the shadowdancer. I suppose it's a choice of playstyle
I don't understand how leveling to 3 twice is costing a lot though. Its costing you 1 card extra from your hand right? Usually you pay 3 influence to get to Shadow Dancer, so you're paying 3 to go to Reaver and then 1 more to go to Dancer and in exchange you get to use 4 extra cards. I just don't see any world where giving up 1 influence for 4 cards is bad.
