Fire Rescue on the North Shore of Vancouver, BC 

After a long history of working closely together, in recent years the Fire Departments of the District of North Vancouver, the City of North Vancouver, and the District of West Vancouver have striven to integrate their services in order to better protect the communities they serve. Located on the North Shore of Vancouver, with a unique environment of canyons, mountains as well as highly urbanised areas, the three departments have worked hard to synchronise policy, training and dispatch all with the effect of preserving property and saving more lives than ever before.
