Anybody else's tv not turn off when trying to do that 10second on and off thing? And i hit no and it just keeps getting me to attempt it again still not working.. Hmm 🤔
Thank you for this video! My remote wasn’t working for volume, but everything else was fine. Once you had me do the re-pair of the remote, and the tv reboot, it worked great! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, this worked liked a charm! Surprised that AZ does not answer this question on their own forums. This is the only option that worked for me. I wish I had found this video first instead of wasting time on the AZ website.
You are a life saver... my kids disconnected my remote some how and have been searching for weeks to find a fix to connect tv to remote. THANK YOU SO MUCH
This wasn't a problem with my cube until the last round of updates. I looked at my fire sticks and they are set to automatically pair them to the TV controls. Thanks to your tutorial I was able to quickly fix the problem! Thank You !!!!
I looked on here to set my fire TV remote to my television and as soon as I listened to the instructions I remembered how to set it up. I should've remembered as I've already set 3 up. Old age setting in. 😁
THANK YOU!!! I got a new TV and have been trying to figure out how to pair it to my Fire TV remote. Even the Amazon customer service reps gave me the wrong instructions SMH.
Thank you so much 😊 now my fire stick control works with my hisense tv it’s a pretty old 1 but works great 👍 thanks for the tip . Stephanie October 20 2019...
Thank you very much for this informative and useful video. As stated before this is the first place I found that shows how to enable the Alexa remote control to control a TV. This is usually done automatically when you first setup the Amazon Firestick. In my case I moved the Firestick to another TV when the remote stopped controlling the TV. After following these steps it works again. Perfect.
Thanks for the video. There’s a setting you usually have to change in the tv settings to allow the Firestick to switch to that input automatically when you use the remote
I set up 3 new sticks on the same TV. One worked fine cause it was on the TV I used to set it up. So on the other two I just had to go to "Equipment Control", "Manage Equipment" then TV and change TV to the correct TV and they both work fine.
