I have a firestick lite however after sign in it's asking me to set up my remote where it then asks me to press vol+ or vol-. I'm sure you can see the problem as a firestick lite remote doesn't have those buttons. Idk what to do now.
I have two that I bought about two mo. ago maybe more never hooked it up till tomorrow what is the difference in the quality of reception ? do I need to upgrade it already? I have three extra functions on mine should I buy two new remotes or better yet get two new lite sticks to keep up with the times
Hi, these are good questions, as I have just updated the video description with links to the 4 different Firestick models. I am assuming that you purchased the Firestick Lite version, which doesn't have a power or volume button on the remote control. I don't think there is a difference between the Firestick Lite or Fire TV Stick when it comes to reception, although the 4K models are faster. You just bought them recently, so there is no need to update them as I still have my Firestick from 4 years ago and still working just fine. As of right now, The Fire TV Stick is on sale, as its only $2 more than the Lite version, which also has the TV power button and volume as well, so you don't have to use your TVs original remote control, which is a big plus. I wouldn't buy new remotes, because they cost almost as much as a new Firestick. I hope this helps you out and thanks for watching as well.
Great video, do you know if the Fire stick lite can download HBO Max outside of the USA. I'm in Jamaica and I'm getting this, but I'm not sure if the Amazon app store geo restricts HBO Max download from their app store in Jamaica and outside the States.

Hi, make sure you are about 3 feet pointing to the Firestick when pairing. If that doesn't work, install new batteries, make sure they are installed the right way, I have made that mistake twice myself. If you have a cover on the remote, remove it and try pairing again. If all fails, unplug the Firestick from the wall, wait about two minutes then try again. Best of luck to ya and update me too. Thanks for watching!
Hi, when your Fire stick is turned on, point towards your tv and press and click the HOME button, hold it down for about 30 seconds to one minute, you should see a message on the bottom right of the screen that the device is paired. Repeat the process if you have to, if it doesn't work, then install new batteries in the remote control and try again, this might take several tries before it works, I hope that helps and thanks for watching too.
