Oh man ! I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE FOUND YOUR VIDEO, THANKS A LOT ! I'm making an app but using Kotlin and it's been a big pain in my b*lls 'cause I didn't know why I was having an error when onAuthStateChanged sends Null, but I noticed that you had implemented the interface and overriden the method (it must be impemented), that was the error haha...but thank you very much ! Great. I love ur videos because everytime u give updated methods. One problem here. During sign in I found that after clicking login register button when I hit the any of the Firebase AuthUI sign in methods the login page was coming in a blink and then the main activity page came. What to do?

@@mafiacodes Finally the problem has been solved. I have tried it myself. I have converted all the activities into Fragments and it is working fine for me.

Yes u have to stop the listener, otherwise it will fire multiple times and U’ll have a memory leak.

@@mafiacodes Sorry - another question (you may think is a simple one!) - how can you check for a login attempt event?.. At the moment, I can't see how to listen for a failed attempt (so UI just looks unresponsive!). Thanks in advance!!

I guess that’s automatically handled by the firebase ui, if ur not implementing that manually, correct me if I am wrong.
