Even after I remove all the test numbers and users to check on my real phone, I get " this app is not authorized to use Firebase authentication. please verify that the correct package name and SHA-1 are configured in the Firebase."

Hey Iam facing problem in google sign in and with phone too..In google Sign in it is returning to activity rather going to Homescreen and when I type phone number it is saying that"This app is not authorised to use firebase authentication please verify that correct package name and sha1 are configured in firebase console."

It worked till last month at android studio 4.0 but after updating to 4.1 I am only able to do Email and Google authentication but phone authentication is not working. When I press verify it returns to the Auth Ui screen. I don't know why. Any suggestions plz.

Bro it has nothing to do with android studio. Unless u tell the error in console I cannot help.

@@mafiacodes Finally my problem is solved. I have checked my old project it is perfectly working. And what I have found is that the problem is in the firebase auth version 20.0.0. The 'com.google.firebase: firebase- auth: 19.4.0' is working.

Auth ui is not stable with ver .20, I had a problem with web integration

It will send otp via message only, this is the test number I added, you can try on ur mobile without adding that mobile number as a test account Subscribe like share😊

why you put the dummy phone numbers ? can we use OTP method to for login ? I'm using an ionic App

Because I m using n emulator, on a real device u can use the actual phone number to get the otp

No you cannot without otp, if u want (which is NOT advisable) u have to create ur own api.

@@mafiacodes no not worked for me, it works for testing mobile numbers only which I entered in Google project of firebase, but when I enter other numbers it says app not authorised to use firebase
