Catherine Parr for myself was the most compelling wife . Highly intelligent brought Elizabeth back to succession & challenged Henry a King she didn’t want to marry
Actually Henry's 4th wife Anne of Cleves survived him. He divorced her and she was considered his "sister" after that and lived quite comfortably until she died after Henry.
Alicia blew me away with the Danish Girl. She is so underrated, sweet and humble, unlike so many young women in that industry now... Just look at her outfits, so elegant and classy and sweet.
Totally agree; I love her, she's very underrated and she's so good in her roles. I love that she thinks enough about herself, to not get into the "hollywood'" way of dressing; she's always classy and well dressed. You're right, she's elegant and sweet, just a nice person. (from Sandi)
Both Jude and Alicia are superb in this film. Jude is terrifying and so true to what I imagine Henry was, and Alicia as an intelligent abused woman who must stay composed at all cost were spot on. Even historical inaccuracies do not matter, frankly. It depicted the Court, Henry the beast and women’s condition at the time extremely well. A must watch.
Amazing to see Jude and Alicia together again after 10 years! They both have had a great decade...Alicia look as beautiful as the first time i saw her, i mean, in Anna Karenina, and Jude looks as fine as well, and actually during that movie he actually looked so old, haha
Vikander is difficult and a weirdo in real life, the director didn’t like her, that’s why she doesn’t feature as much as she could have done in the film
So @trevorpepper1996, you must know Alicia personally to know that she's difficult, true? I thought not. You're just repeating gossip and nasty gossip at that. She's a great actress and very understated and I would bet that most people that have worked with her, have loved the experience. Quit telling lies about someone you don't even know. (from Sandi)
