In high school, I spent more hours in Courtyard than in all classes combined.

It took 14 years and 3 more games… but Lone Wolf is a firefight map! Yippee! Happy to see the Firefight playlist is getting love, it’s my favorite mode to just turn off and grind challenges so I can enjoy playing with friends more.

I am so happy to see more Firefight maps in rotation I’d love to see new modes for firefight too like Generator defense or even a boss rush mode of some kind

As Halo Reach was my first ever Halo game, I finally felt the nostalgia that the H3 players get every update. I'm actually speechless

And Lone Wolf?! This is awesome!! More unique Forge content in matchmaking, please! Keep it coming 👍 Would love to see revamped version of that Zombies mode appear in Match Composer for Firefight.

Awesome, incorporating the targeting designator was a great bonus. Also more vehicles in Firefight! Can’t wait to dive in.

For anyone getting a chance to thank the creators of all the maps that have been created and especially ported over to matchmaking, I’m sure that would bring a smile to their faces :)

Not gonna lie, I got some nostalgia/PTSD in the first few seconds from seeing that map.

The fact that you wouldn’t even be able to tell what’s dev made and player made anymore is a huge testament to how far forge has come!

Forge is so powerful in Halo!! and the community always amazes me with these creations!! ^_^

Awesome work by forgers! Hopefully the vehicles/turrets on these Firefight maps work like their classic iterations, respawning each round. The current ones in rotation despawn on a whim - sometimes in the same wave- meaning you're out of luck the rest of the game. Some guy drives a gungoose off a cliff? Guess we're hoofin it

Forge is really cool, but I'm not really a fan of how it seems to have become a replacement for maps made with the dev tools, yeah the forge maps can look nice, but they're not the same as dev tool maps, and most the time, it is east to tell them apart. I make maps myself and one thing that annoys me is the fact that the terrain looks ugly, there is no tool to seamlessly tie them together, and so we are left with obvious lines in between terrain pieces, following the terrain issue, there is no option to automatically apply foliage to selected terrain, it would be nice to have a build menu similar to how the nav mesh builder works, but instead it places grass and other foliage onto selected terrain. It always seems to be the terrain that makes it easy to spot a forge map, desert and snow maps can typically get away with it since they dont need a lot of vegetation, my suggestion will likely go unheard, but at least the idea is there, having these 2 options would greatly increase forge map quality, and would also save forgers a ton of time.

With almost 800 firefight matches, I was definitely feeling beat down in my journey to Hero rank. This might just get me there now.

Its pretty nice this game is still getting development even tho no new vehicles for a long time .. finally we got new cut content weapon that was in back for a long time but I felt it could've been brought last year or the beginning of this year in 2024 but as of the moment it kinda late but it is what it is.

Long time ago leave halo infinite but that maps make me feel so nostalgic. I'll coming back into this game. Thanks forgers.

Never would have guessed 343 are using the one tool they have left... Nostalgia, I don't need more member berry's, me thinks the next game is gonna be ANOTHER remaster.

It's fine that forge exists, but these maps look really cheap. Such a shame 343i doesn't care enough to build developer maps anymore. The difference in quality, detail and polygonal resolution is massive between a properly developed map, and what forge lets you do. Halo is to Xbox as Half Life is to Valve, as Zelda is to Nintendo. Those other companies would never do anything but poor all of their talent into their top IP. Here is Microsoft, that for years has been half assing it's IPs and then leaving it up to the community to support.
