Comsidering how so many unwanted or lost pets there are out there, these stories are nice to hear. There are so many people who help animals like this. Many of these kinds of videos also show how to help an animal or person in distress. I for one am glad for people and organizations like this. Many of them also raise funds to help with expensive care or feeding of pets that are treated well by their families but make it prohibitive to keep the pet. Pets need rheir famiies as much as their humans need them. Im grateful for this channel and my awesome furbabies, all of whom are rescues.

​@@katymay2611That is so true! Especially, your statement about the feral ones. A few years back, we were visiting friends in Florida. The mom had a whole family of feral cats that she looked after. Every one of the cats steered clear of most people, but my sister and I just let the cats come to us and, before we knew it, everyone of them, including "Granny", the matriarch of the feline family, came for some "scritches" and petting. Our friend kind of got jealous when, Flossie, the newest addition (so still very skittish) to the colony, came over and jumped into my lap and made herself at home. She was the sweetest little ginger fluff! We couldn't take her, because we had two cats that we had just adopted. That would not have worked at that stage. We also found out that she was feeding the local racoon population, so I was not too sure how healthy everyone was, you know?

I cared for a stray until there was room at the shelter where I volunteered. You know the rest. She was my darling for the next 14 years.

I found about 4yo yellow chonker at the busy main road in Helsinki, on Mother’s Day no less. No one missed him, so he moved in, got named Hemmo (Dude) and lived the rest of his days in a 5-pack of mischief machines. My theory is that he had been elderly persons pet, because Hemmo loved my grandma so obviously and passionately, more than our other cats. They all loved her, but Hemmo adored her, I meant nothing when granny was around :)

I was married to a firefighter and we found two feral kittens in our vegetable garden. One was black and the other was grey. We named them Cinder ( black male ) and Ash (grey male). They were the best cats ever!

I think every firehouse needs a cat!! After a hard maybe emotional call out coming back to the firehouse to a loving caring 🐈cat🐈 would be good for the heart and soul❤

@@MMCPN All emotionally taxing jobs could use community cats. I know some police stations have them, even some retail stores and libraries. Today, with all Karens going around, every backroom should include a cat. Couple cuddles and life isnt as bad anymore :)

This one comedian with dwarfism was talking about how a Dalmatian has a prey drive for smaller animals, including him. The dog basically decked him. Cats are better 😂

I would have named him Ash. 😂
