That transition at 0:11 from finger tapping to retrieving the guitar pick is literally magical. He's palming the pick using his pinky and ring fingers just like a magician would palm a secret playing card before the reveal. The transition is so clean and the whole thing is so musical while being so technical. Simply amazing.

This is one of the most amazing guitar covers I've ever heard. Genuinely. I keep coming back to this video and singing along to the riff - it's so fucking addictive!! Just the amount of variation this has... 0:26 - 0:32 and 0:42 - 0:48 are absolutely stunning. I've been listening to this song on repeat the last few days, god knows why, and came across this. Makes me want to learn guitar, it's been a number of years since I last touched an instrument, having stopped drumming after 10 years. I miss music

Dude it's been a year and I hope you've picked up your instrument again, I was on a gap for 2 years or so because of personal issues but it's because of Mateus I picked up my guitar and been playing since then.

I’ve seen a lot of guitar stuff, but I would have to agree. I’ve seen impressive stuff, I’ve seen beautiful stuff, but not such an amazing combination of technique and music sensitivity.
I’ve been listening for years but this is my first comment. You are an inspiration, my brother! I had put the guitar down because of some major health complications but watching your videos again recently had inspired me pick it up and play again. Thank you and please keep producing videos. For some, like me, it is life breathing into a horrible situation. God bless you!
