Live panel of Jewel Staite featuring Nathan Fillion recorded at the 2013 Ottawa Comic-Con by attendees. This panel was listed as Firefly cast panel, but Summer Glau cancelled unfortunately, but was nice enough to skype in during the show. Jewel Belair Staite (born June 2, 1982) is a Canadian actress. She is known for her roles as Kaylee Frye in FOX television series Firefly (2002-03) and its spin-off theatrical film Serenity (2005), and as Dr. Jennifer Keller on Sci-Fi Channel's science-fiction television series Stargate Atlantis (2007-09). Staite has also starred in her youth as Catalina in Space Cases (1996) and as "Becca" Fisher in Flash Forward (1996-97), and more recently as Raquel Westbrook in the Canadian drama The L.A. Complex (2012) and Caroline Swift in AMC's crime drama The Killing (2013-14).

Nathan's line at the 40:26 mark about the GYN doctor and the daughter of a friend of Dana Delany, had me rolling on the floor with laughter. No one can tell a story like Nathan Fillion can. He is hillarious and a joy to watch. Is there any wonder he has folks flocking to be around him? He sure makes my day!!

I think Jewel Staite is my favorite of the Firefly cast. She has such an outgoing personality. Soooo cute!

I like the question about the Kaley/Mal thing. When Jewel was at a con in Edmonton, I asked if she could ever see herself kissing Nathan on a TV show. Her reaction was priceless.

Won't happen, at least not for this cast, maybe at the best a Disney animated series with all actors, however with Ron glass dead it won't be the same

I'm italian, so I don't understood so much... but if I'm not wrong he said that he puts them in order from who he kissed less, to who he kissed more. Talk about Kate Beckett and said one thing like "lot of kisses" and Jewel ask him if it 'cause in the show they are together and they confirm. I'm sorry... I'm not good with English. I hope someone help us to understand more : )
