Firefly joins Astral Express

There's a theory I read where Sunday joins the Stellaron Hunters, and Firefly's third death is her leaving her job as SAM to live on as Firefly with the Astral Express Good shit

This is Kafka's 'final lesson' for Firefly. 'Live'.

In the end it was all Elio's script but at least he gave Firefly a new life as "firefly", not "SAM" This is truly a wonderful thing

Firefly x caelus is truly a canon ship, it cannot be collapsed

In my humble opinion, it would be the best variant for Firefly. In patch 2.2, the plot clearly showed us that Firefly does not like to exist as a weapon named SAM, she prefers to be a simple person, to be herself, and not one of the most terrible criminals in the Galaxy. Her attitude towards this was very well shown in her dialogue with Blade and also in her interactions with the crew of the Astral Express. It would look very strange to me if after all this she just went back to the Stellaron Hunters and continued doing the same thing as before. In my opinion, this would simply destroy her potential as a character. But unfortunately, I think that this is exactly the ending that awaits her, I just can’t believe that Hoyo will be able to find the strength and courage to make the plot twist in which she joins the Astral Express.

Having Firefly as an express member is such a pipe dream but I still delude myself into thinking that it'll happen

Firefly: But what about Elio's script?! Kafka: The fate of the Stellaron Hunters is tied to the Express. If we need you for the script, we know how to reach you. So go enjoy yourself.

I bet that this is something Firefly herself also wanted as well, to join the Astral Express and be free

Elio: Her story as sam is done, but as firefly, a new story has just begun, but that would be for another time."

Firefly joining the Astral Express is PEAK character development, it is just that the IPC chasing the Express due to her past isn't wholesome though I can also see that Sunday joining the Stellaron Hunters in her stead after his failed plan to assimilate everyone in his mini-Project Stigma, completely abandoning Harmony/Order and embracing the Nihility... That’s cute. I have a bad feeling Firefly is getting the Himeko treatment but we’ll see. I also find it a little amusing how Firefly’s introduction has shifted Kafka from “mommy” to actual mom in a sense. Granted maybe it’ll switch back when Kafka shows up again.
