Choice of browser is basically down to brand preference. If you're a Computer scientist, then it's social suicide to use IE. If you're a normal person, you'll probably use IE. It's just not worth the bother these days. IE is just as good and has some clever safety features (only IE 8/9). I don't want to clutter up my system with a browser while I've already got a fully functioning browser. The older IE's were unsafe though.

The real question here is how well would Microsoft Edge do?

Random and interesting subject here. Well, back in 2009, I would agree with this, but now I think the newer version of IE is better. Especially being able to save your favorite webpages to the task bar at the bottom so you can easily load them up before even opening your web browser. Just click down there and boom, your web browser opens on that very webpage. But I say to each their own. I use Chrome a lot too. I will say this however. I don't like Opera web browser. When I used it years ago, it seemed to have always not saved things I did like things I typed as comments or even people I tried to block from messaging me on RU-vid. I instead continued to get harrassing messages from those punks, but when I used a different web browser and tried to block them, they were indeed blocked and no longer messaging me.
