@@juandefektor I was obsessed with fIREHOSE and they played an astounding number of gigs -- anytime and anywhere. I was on their "volunteer muster roll" so would receive the postcards in the mail with about a dozen gigs listed. I looked it up on the map and drove my pathetic car. Good times.

Love this, awesome, and you got the mix right to hear the bass well and stand out as your own. and since you asked, one of my two favorite "break within a song" bass solos is Watt in "From one cums one" at about the 1;20 mark. My other fave is Violent Femmes on "Please do not go" at about the 2;05 mark. That dreadnought acoustic bass, if thats what it is on the studio track, sounds so good.

Where should I start with favorite Watt bass lines? _Relatin' Dudes to Jazz_ probably, but _Sexual Military Dynamics_ is also a great one. As is _Anti-Misogyny Maneuver._

Was curious how you do the plucking technique on the slides because it doesn't look like your really plucking the string the cover is fantastic and helped me learn the song a lot easier

yes I pluck first and then slide, but once you start sliding it makes it's own sound without a pluck. which part were you talking about?
