Years ago I was able to buy a 6-pack of 1# propane bottles at Sam’s Club for $11.88. My how times have changed. Absolutely Skeet, buy and keep these adapters for just such a situation. Never limit yourself by only having one solution to a situation. Good information, thanks Sir.

Now that is super handy! Pretty cool for those longer trips so you don't have to pack a bunch of smaller bottles. Goes to show that even the smallest of adaptors can make a big difference. Handy piece to have in your gear!

WOW, I am happy you post this video. It got me thinking that I do not need my classic 2 Burner Coleman stove for those times I need to cook inside my mini-van. A small single burner stove will do. I found several to choose from and several of them include the adapter. Again, you have led me to a solution, pointed me/my brain in the right direction to solve a problem.... I have an adapter kit i orderd off amazon. It comes with a bunch of propane adapters and iso and butane. Its a cheap kit and i love it its an awsome way to use any fuel for your stove.

I have a lixada kit that has a propane adaptor and also an adaptor to refill cans. Only downside is that if you connect the propane adaptor gas comes out.

Tip put the 1lb bottle in the freezer for a bit for faster filling

Most of these adapters have no check valve so you have to connect to the stove first then the propane bottle... I cringed a little when you connected to the bottle first ... but seems this one has a valve or we just weren't hearing the gas leak out also. You need to be careful using propane on butane stoves as they tend to run a bit hotter on the stove elements.
