That Castle beeping drove me NUTS until I correctly figured there was a setting that would shut it off. The Castle link software allows you to turn that off. 69 is my number too... as is every other male who was born that year... ;)
Great videos and informative 👍 keep up the good work. I have a kraton 6s that's with a max6 1100kv and I went to vitavon and grabbed the 44t spur...my gearing is around 30ish to keep it playful but wicked quick ...maybe try that spur?
Nothing like the Castle mamba monster beep noise and not to mention that i have the castle bluetooth for the esc and it can allow to adjust settings on the esc from the app
Hey Guy you have to remember you are driving up hill so your speed would actually be faster if it was a flat road !!! and your temp was only 100 degrees you can gear it up !!!
I recon there’s easily 75 in that setup. You just need to be able to hold full trigger for a bit longer. You need a longer road without the jump. Beyond that and I think your tyres are gonna make the car uncontrollable. Maybe think about thickening up your diffs oils too.
@@rcguygarage hey I have a 2019 or 2020 kraton 6s , but I have rebuilt and refilled my diffs , bought a new center diff, and still truck sounds funny runs fast but won't wheely any more, how so you know if the motor or esc is blown or damaged,
@@mikeruisi13 sorry but sometimes lack of info makes diag a little difficult swapping another motor if you've got it check your motor bearings a wheelie is going to be achieved normally by stiffening up the center diff to be able to put power to the rear because once the vehicle launches it plants the rear and diffs out the front
@@rcguygarage I had 300,000 in center , 50,000 rear and 30,000 front I rebuilt them , so I know they not broken inside , the only thing I can think is it's the motor or esc , or both , think i just going to buy a new specktrum motor esc combo ,

You and earl picked two great rigs for the challenge. I think they both can accomplish 100mph off road. I personally would have chose the talion or typhon or kraton. @@rcguygarage I don’t know if this helps you out on that rig, but one thing that I do is use the scorched rc drive shafts and out drives. A little less weight and rotational mass.

Congrats on the new pb on asphalt 🥳 I cannot believe it’s not faster on that gearing 🤔 Maybe first try a infraction spur, it’s 4 tooth less fits with the differential and you get some space for a bigger pinion! I wonder if the motor can produce and handle the needed powah 🤔 Good luck for the next changes and testing 🍀 I also think about entering the game! Even if I don’t think it’s possible with the 1/7 or 1/8 scales, I feel that itching to try by myself 🤷🏻♂️
