Welcome back to the channel, in this video Owen and Myself tackle Firetruck hill near lithgow before heading off in search of a great campsite by the lake , we also drive a few other great tracks as well and the weather really turned it on for us . It turned out to be a fantastic weekend .

Another great video mate. Keen to do a bit more exploring out that way next year. He may have forgot the bread rolls but from here it still looked like a good meal. What is it with people leaving rubbish! It's not hard to put it in a bag and then take it home or the nearest rubbish bin but nah, let's chuck it in the fire! Glass seems to be the worst thing I find in fires and on the beach. I seem to pick it up everytime I'm out no matter if it's just a day trip up the local or interstate on a trip.

Another good vid mate enjoyed it bugger left the roles behind 😂arwell I remember years ago we got to zeka spur track for wanangatta and my dads mate forgot his sleeping bag so out come the pocket knife cut up a good quality king size dooner to make 2 😂😂😂 but it worked no 1 went cold atleast

Firetruck looks a bit gnarly. Don’t think I’d like to try it by myself or without a spotter. Campsite looks great though.

Makes me upset and angry when I see rubbish like that in the bush! I just hope if we all do our bit and clean up what we can it’ll keep these tracks open but it shouldn’t be that way! Top quality clip Shad and Owen. 🤙🏻

Thanks mate , yeah the rubbish is a bit annoying but I don’t let it worry me and ruin the weekend, just pick it up and continue along. Owens tent is only new and that was his first night in it , he liked it and yes its one of the lighter ones so better on the roof. So after one night he is happy with it. Thanks for watching 🤠👍👍

Top Vid Shad! Some killer spotting skills on firetruck, correct use of PPE while using a chainsaw... LOL. Improvised ala-cart menu, and a killer camp-site that is constantly visited by disrespectful grubs that could ruin it for everyone..... Not to mention a well thought out camera placement relay both days. As you said.... Good Fun! 👌

Top video as usual. Some of those trails have certainly changed since I last did them last year. The rain has changed just about every trail everywhere! I don't own a Hilux so can I ask what that A.D.D. (I think you said) unit is that is giving issues?

That must have been clutch control coming up firetruck hill in the lux. Toyota handbrakes don't work.

Love the video mate! Good little bit of action and wheel lifts. Bummer about the burgers but athletes like you don’t need the carbs. Great area with everything you need in the one spot. Question - when are you doing the front live axle delete in favour of a Hilux IFS running gear swap? You must be stinging to get one back on Owen who always makes tough tracks look easy

Hey mate, I don’t log and tracks or keep any record i just drive around 😂😂. I do know that area fairly well though. We just came in from rydal side down and made our way to firetruck hill ( it’s actually marked on google maps ) then at the top we headed down to the right making our way to the river , then basically following that track around the back of the lake , there is heaps to do in there as well , like more tracks etc 👍👍. Head out for a look around and you’ll find it all and maybe more 👍. Cheers shad

Great video. What size rims and tyres does Owen have on the Luxy?

285/70/17 tyres, not sure on the rims , they are 17s but not sure on width an offset.

@@shaddonaghue cheers for that. Did he have to do any chopping or move the front castor forward? Running 265/75/16 on mine, would like to go to 285/75/16 just not sure if they will fit. Have an adjustable 2 to 4 inch lift, so hoping it will work. New to all of this, lot's to work out.
