Lucky, I saw their first show in Los Angeles at the House of blues in 2008 when they opened for Arch Enemy, great show. I'll never forget that night. I also met Gus G. Really nice guy and down to earth. He was my guitar idol as a kid and still is. I was 18 back, then I'm 34 now, and he still inspired me to pick up a guitar every time I listened to him or Firewind.
The video that started it all for me. Saw this when I was 14 and picked up the guitar 1 year after. 12 yrs later and we're going strong. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your inspiration Gus G!
This was My Favorite video Of The 2000-2010 Period The Shots of Tokyo/Shinjuku Area combined with Gus G And Marshall Ultra Stack Was Beyond Awesome!!!🤩
I get this mental image when I listen to this song. Its like video game cutscene. Here it goes: Its a sci fi scene, inside a space ship in low orbit, centered on soldiers in these huge exoskeleton power armors. They are dropped down towards the planet. There's a fighter jets fighting, and the soldiers are dodging them on their way down, some successfully, some not. They eventually land. Then unleash an unholy havoc upon their enemies.
I cant get enough of that chugging riff its amazing 🎸🤘😎🤘 Gus you are a greek metal God :) now i have to learn this amazing song on my guitar your music inspires me.
Hello Gus I absolutely love your music! You are a living legend . , I can hardly wait to hear the music you create in the next twenty years and over your life time . Thank you for doing what you do man, Stay well .
Gus, Awesome playing, great to see this. The other day my nephew sent me a Cameo vid from you, and i just want to thank you for it! I appreciate the heartfelt expression you put into the video. I am really enjoying the Jackson Pro Star I bought last week. It is an incredible instrument! i'm very impressed with the build quality of this guitar, it is worth 2x as much$! All the best to you, Nick
no way! this is my favorite song that you ever made! i remember i heard it for the first time on a bootleg guitar hero 2 mod which had this song and i've been hooked ever since. Me and my best friend still blast it every once in a while. I can't believe this gem of a video was hidden out there! Thank you for uploading it!
Fucking incredible. I was 12 when this came out. Safe to say it was pivotal in inspiring me to keep playing guitar, keep practising every day. Thank you Gus G and Firewind. Who knows where I would be without you
My son was also 12 when we played this cd in my car when it came out. He's 33 and still plays this in his big rig truck. Him and I also dig Stian Kristofferson from pagans on drums. Dude is a beast. He did this album and forged by fire, also recorded with Jorn and his band Pagans Mind!
I hear a little bit of every band I've ever loved in metal here... from Testament to Metal Church... Savatage to Megadeth, and countless others in between (not to mention the obvious neo-classical shred aspect). The production, the visual stylings... this track transcends even Firewind itself. This song is just on another level. This is so much more than a 'cult classic'. It an anthem we'll still be headbanging to in decades to come). Thank you for this marvel of audio art.
The washburn she sounds great with heavy loads to give out inspired by tones with sustainable vibration WOW Dimebag would be impressived by it as well GOOD DEEDS GUS
Thanks for the inspiration, Gus. I'm still playing and trying yo improve, I know, it's a long trip, but I'm enjoying each step. I'm gonna make it for sure. Thanks again. Stay metal.

This song is so epic. It's like the sound track to a very scary dream. Being chased by some monster from hell. Awesome man. You just killed it in this one.
I spent weeks trying to nail the harmony section after I got nailed I used as a means to wake up my finger when I would play honestly the song was a lot fun to learn
