Cool review, man. The things I like about your review: your honesty; you give your height, weight, and the exact dimensions of the boards you are using; and you show video of the boards in action. So many of the reviewers on RU-vid come off as salesman with way too much hype; I think they are actually getting paid by the surfboard companies; and, therefore, I do not trust them. However, your review is not like that.
Now a couple months gone... Curious if you still feel the same regarding the Gamma as your favorite one board quiver all-rounder? Quick thoughts on the LFT vs. Helium construction for this board? Which construction to get and why? thanks.
Hey I would really love it if you did a tutorial on frontside air reverses. I have no problems with backside air reverses , frontside alley oops and straight airs I've been sticking them consistently for about 4 years. I just can't crack the front side air reverse😤Can you give some tips? I know the wind direction makes a massive difference but I was wondering about things like ...Does grabbing the rail make it easier make it easier or harder? Should I start by doing chop hops? I would really appreciate your input as you clearly have the trick down. Thanks mate Andy
Andy, check out the frontside air reverse tutorial on Shane Beschen's Instagram, @shanebeschen. Its super technical, explains all the steps + progression of the whole thing. I find it super helpful. cheers
I ride a 6'2 SKX and started as a thruster but found the back fin drag made the board not roll on rail as easy. As a Quad its next level fast and turns mucho better for me at my size.
