nice machine. good on you for continuing to work smarter, not harder. I turn 72 in a few days and have an old craftsman 22 ton, single wedge. i'm retired so i just do it for me, don't sell it. Its been unbearably hot here in southern maryland too. I've stayed inside most of the summer......lol. thanks for sharing.

Hello OGF, Today it was hot in Va, 98 degrees, My Neighbor and I power washed my house, even with water running and a few drips landing on me, it was still HOT. What You were doing is a lot more work and uncomfortable than what I did, Your equipment makes it as easy as it can possibly be, but hard work by my standards, Well Done.

Dick your lucky for warm weather, we got 2” snow on the mountain 🏔 yesterday morning. . 😊 76 of age is your prime age to be in the wood 🪵 yard. Still remember my dad running logging equipments at the age 86 😊.

I always wondered how you guys down south keep going in the heat . I’m about done once it hits 85 up here . Guess I need to work on getting an Easton made splitter . That sure made short work of doing a 1/3 cord . Get that mill going Dick I always enjoy milling videos and seeing how others go about getting it done .

Dick, I am also over 70 and was influenced by your videos to get my 22-28. I have been milling some black walnut because no way was it going through the splitter.!! I need to be more consistent taking video as you never know how they might turn out.

Great job Dick! I love my box wedge, just missing the conveyor. I still like stacking into the IBC totes, but that tote you did got really full. Did you adjust any of the pieces?

Machine is great, pieces after splitting seam very small, what if larger split pieces are desired?

I'm 64 years old with asthma. I have no truck , no splitter. Just 3 chainsaws and 3 axes. Bad back and asthma. I cut rounds often.

I spit for 30 minutes some times come in and cool off. I wish didn’t have neighbors I spit wood at night. I got questions on your chain grinder. I got Oregon 410 with cam lock vise. The problem is sometimes even tooth your cutting moves when grinding. Do your tooth your cutting move when grinding? 2 question do you wish you went with the hydraulic version? I sharpen ten chains or so a month. Stay cool out there.

Work smarter not harder and keep a mister bottle handy as well as something to drink and some some of shade
