Every year, the Wilmington and Western Railroad runs an evening train on Independence Day, from their home station just outside of Wilmington, DE, to the other end of the line in Hockessin, DE and their annual fireworks show. In 2023, as usual, the train was steam-powered, so 0-6-0 #58 was up to the task, pulling the packed train along the winding and bucolic line. Here's a look at the 4th of July festivities, and Fireworks Along the Wilmington and Western!
