So the second episode of the series where I clean out my warehouse from fireworks and you guys really wanted to see a watercake. Here we have a 36 shot, 40mm, red coconut crosette aquatic cake.
Such a cool firework! :)

The cake basically shoots off loaded tubes (imagine a disassembled "normal" crossette cake), which have a floating piece attached, so that they float upright in the water - with a long delay, so they go off some time after hitting the water surface. Many different effects are possible, like flares, mines or even salutes..

I have seen some of this type of cakes before so I knew this would be awesome. Yea the shape of the cake is special also the first liftcharge is small. The second liftcharge is more powerful to get them out of the water. A very nice piece of engineering in a firework cake. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've been looking at fireworks videos and have been active in the scene since I was 6 and i have never seen something like this. This is so damn cool.

That is amazing, I was expecting perhaps a flare effect floating on the water with a smallish "lift effect" after a delay.

Now that’s trick! Watched an exhibition show down in New Orleans on the Mississippi a few years back. They fired something like that but the just floated on the water burning as flares. But watching these fire out of the water into the sky after landing in the water was taking it to a whole new level! Awesome! 👍🏻❤️😎

That is so awesome. I only heard the term 'water cake' recently but I had no idea it does that! I thought it was just an angled cake that shoots 'over' the water - I thought the thing malfunctioned!

Fireworks really look good when shot at dusk. That color on the western horizon complements the color palette of the fireworks. I love to shoot with dusk light in the sky.
