Im sorry cody but i would dislike this video if i could cause it makes me so depressed that i just spent 1550 for 3 death shells and 3 nishiki blast shells smh hawaii sucks ass
Omg thank you so much i have a budget of $120 now i know how to get the most bang for my buck!!! 👍👍 Edit: i bought for 20 is 2 mini fountains, 14 jumping jacks, 4 roman candles with five shots, 12 pack of twisters, 12 pack of smoke bombs, mini cake with 48 shots, 1 pack of black cat firecrackers, and one mini regular firework (forgot the name).
You can buy cakes and mortar shells at all the tents. They can’t sell Roman candles, firecrackers, sky lanterns, or bottle rockets. Maybe a couple other things I can’t remember. The main good stuff is legal. Just have to watch city ordinances where lighting them. A group of guys from work and I buy them wholesale. I got $2200 worth this year and my friend got $350. Going to be a hell of a show.
Yup. Just going over the border in indiana you have Shelton's fireworks. If you're in Indianapolis we have lame ole phantom fireworks, Jakes, and the random firework stores that open everywhere. Near ohio/Indiana border there like 2-3 mom pop shops and sheltons on I-74. Idk about going west near Illinois since i dont really go to Illinois. Only go to Chicago every year or so
I really like these shopping videos. When I walk in the store, I get so overwhelmed and never know what to get on a budget This was great. Thanks for posting.
lots of people say you should spend 100 dollars on a big firework, but you lose the enjoyment of lighting more fireworks and we the firework is done, you have the enjoyment, but if you got cheap fireworks and then a 5 dollar firework, you will have just as good of a time, with a cheap price, and the fun last longer, and not just a short brust of fun
Here in Texas when the firework stores open for the holidays I come back to this video and I watch it over and over again and after when I buy I get great and amazing fireworks and my budget is under or well at the way I set it and I thank Cody for it and all my info on fireworks big thanks to you
Although the fireworks from America are of less quality to what we have here in the UK, I love the idea of the walk around and grab what you want shops. We tell the workers what we want and they go out back and get it
I love doing smaller scale pickups or just getting little fireworks cause they really are great they last awhile for decently cheap usually, about $100 of little stuff (with lots of variety) can last like 6 hours. Thats 16 bucks an hour of LOTS of fun. Lighting fireworks is some of the most fun ive had in my life, and even if they are small doesnt mean they are less fun. Cakes are alot more impressive but your $ is gone in seconds, if you get some little stuff some big stuff it balances out, for example, if you only got cakes and bigger stuff IMO it wouldnt be as fun cause ur hundreds of dallors would be gone in maybe an hour or 2. A good work around for this is getting variety, or getting some stuff that takes lots of time like canister shells, there cheap enough if you find the right place, are big and pretty cant go wrong with em, and make the crowd go "Woah! OOO pretty!" everytime. Thats why I get bottle rockets and firecrackers cause they are lots of fun and can last a hour or to just with a few boxes of firecrackers and a gross of bottle rockets, it holds me over till its time to light the bigger stuff like 200 grammers and its just all around great.
Very nice. Shopping on a budget is one of those necessary things we have to live with! It's always good to have practical tips on how to be a better pyro!
Simple pattern for $50 or less. 1) short stack fountain $1 2) Cool Kat fountain $2 3) Lazer rainbow fountain $5 4) ground flowers $1 5) Morning glory sparkles $1 Total $10.00 5) 2 saturn missle $3.75 6) A decent 200 gram cake $10.00 7) Small pack of canister shells or ball shells $20-25 You get pretty colors, crackle, pop, active shots, and the big boom. Much more complete than many assortments. Pushing over $50 dollars you throw in a 500 gram cake, and you are still under a $100.
Plain simple when comes to fireworks... Supply vs Demand. Buy fireworks off season, like Feb, Mar. Typically 2 for 1, or 3 for 1, mix match. The stores need reveneue to cover operating during slow season.
Nah, find a place and buy wholesale. Get a group of friends together and you can split up the cases. A few of us from work do it and we’re getting them for the price that the stores are getting them for.
For someone who lives somewhere that fire risks aren’t a concern, I would recommend a gross of bottle rockets for the $20 selection. They are one of the best bang for your buck fireworks out there.
I spend no less than $700 every year.I like cakes, zipper cakes, 2"and 3" finales, 60gm cannisters...not into sparklers, fountains, firecrackers....i might buy a couple rolls (1000- 2000) firecrackers...When you like REAL BOOM...You can never spend less than $500....but for those on a budget and just want to make a little noise this is a good video.
I do $300 every year!!!! Got 24 5inch canisters moters black widow brand $79. Got 2 cakes for $110 one 36shot and one 52shot. Got a bunch of random fountains,200 shot missiles and another 6pack of small moters.few others stuff also. $316 spent 2 days ago.
As a 24 year veteran of selling fireworks, coupons are shit. Lots of time they are bait and switch. Also never fall for buy one get ones. Usually double the price. Shop around early in the season. Packs are great for people ppl le who don't care about fireworks or going to a block party. I will take my time and curate a "package" for my customer.
What a brilliant upload thank you very much. You guys in America have it all. Such a great selection of fireworks. Here in England all the fireworks are in glass display cabinets. Thank you for the upload.
What a beautiful firework store!it’s like a dream too see every cool looking firework there definitely gonna go to memory fireworks this New Year’s Eve🔥
Also it takes trial and error. U gotta buy tons of fireworks to know whats good, or light / watch / watch on RU-vid to know whats good. Plus you gotta know what the audiance wants and likes. I personally like 200 gram cakes and tons of kids stuff. You can light it for hours and its like $100 bucks max.
CodyBPyrotechnics the only way to make it work over here is to make a 8 hour drive or buy from people who made that 8 hour drive to Area 51 witch they triple or quadruple the price
Great firework store for little stuff!! I usually spend probably $200-$300 worth of fireworks but yet again I save fireworks from the year before So if I have a lot of small stuff from last year then I can get $200 of big stuff!
My experience has been to go to a rez in your region. Keep shopping there year after year and ya a) get the specialty items the normie stores don't have and b) get deals and build a relationship with your dealer.
yes I agree I have a stand that ive been going to for the since I was ten, it opens june first stays open 3 days after the forth and ive always lived within walking distance. just the other day I walked in there with less than four dollars and walked out with a happy cake and a 8 pack of roman candles
If you really want to save money become a wholesaler. Only downfall is you must buy by the case but it will cut your cost in "HALF". So you get 3-4 friends together then split them up. Excalibur run 75-80 bucks (24) shot I buy by the case and only pay 35-38 buck for the same product. I get 200 gm for 3-10 bucks a piece (20-42) shots. PS> I do enjoy your videos'.
Hey man watching your videos I noticed that every firework tent or warehouse if way more cheap up north than down here in the south. lol I think those American chief shells I’ve seen for $40 and those handful Roman candles for like $12! I know its crazy. And it’s not just those items I mentioned it’s everything from ground blooms to 500g cakes. Almost every 500g cake is $50 to $80 down here it is unbelievable. And I’m not dumb either I know how mush they(firework tents) spend on wholesale. Just a little rant I had to get off my chest.
Not sure if I need to unsubscribe lol. Jk. I've spent over 2k between 2018-2019. I love fireworks. Cant ever get enough. Cody isn't make it easier for me to limit my spending. Love the vids! Keep up the awesome content bro! 😁
Are those “Cracklin Balls” the same as the ones they sell here in California? Or are those ones better? I get those every year but I take a roll of black tape and tape around the center real tight where the ball goes together so they really POP apart real hard for a better effect! That’s about as cool as it gets here in Ca
Rcp 916 where I live those crackling balls became illegal in my town because people were throwing them in the air. But we still get fire crackle tnt strips. Which are pretty much the same thing just not in ball shape. The weird thing is we got a tnt assortment last year and it had the crackling balls even though they are illegal.
Holy crap those prices are great. The prices where I live are like triple that. A good 500 gram cake on average. Here is $80 to $100. Roman candles are like $12
@WARLORD op I'm listening... how do we make a stand and push? Legally... it's not like I have enough influence to tell everyone to boycott firework shows and or tell everyone to illegally shoot their own fireworks in safe and controlled environments.
