Hey Sophia, thanks for your review we really love your video! As for the issure of the green color on the lens, it`s because of the anti-reflective coating on it. This is the coating we added for you for free. But it won`t make you look everything in green:D Hope you could understand:)
Just to clarify: those green reflections you are seeing mean that the glasses have anti glare coating, it doesn't mean they are fake. Quite the opposite, that coating costs money with or without prescription. So that negative thing is actually a positive. You DO NOT want to not have anti glare. If Firmoo has it available (I know Zenni Optical and EyeBuyDirect do) there is another option which is a clear lenses that block regular reflection, but also those blue light reflections on electronic devices like TV, phones (when you turn night mode on an iphone and it turns yellow, to avoid that blue screen) and tablets. However, the lenses are clear, not orange, and they have anti glare and UV protection (but not tinted, so they dont give you shade like sunglasses, but they give you protection.) However that optipn is super expensive so only choose it if you know you'll love the glasses.
OH okay thank you so much!!! I didn't say it made them fake and I knew they had anti glare, I just didn't know anti glare coating meant green reflections. Thanks for the info :)
I'm not going to lie, you are stunning! The thing I noticed first was your brows, they are very bold, yet suit you and the glasses. I've been wanting to get glasses but I couldn't decide on what frames I want. I'm in the awkward balance between round glasses and the square ones.
Cats And Hats thank you!!! i like them bold idk i love the contrast if that makes sense? but yeah round glasses are personally my preference because i've had square/rectangle frames and they didn't look the best on me. if you've already got glasses get a pair that are similar!
hey! about the weird green reflection-- both of my prescription glasses do that, so its totally normal and they're both supposedly anti-reflective from warby parker.
Hey lovelies! I contacted Firmoo for anyone having trouble with getting their free pair. This is the email I received: "Please make sure that the pair they choose from this specific page bit.ly/firmoofreeeyeglassses Please choose the frame with 1.50 index lenses without any other additional option. Moreover, this voucher code is only good for new customers." If it still isn't working, contact me on my twitter @sophiabrwn and I'll send Firmoo another email :)
Stmu31 Oh my Lord, sorry that I wasn't told what colour the anti-glare was before filming my review. Since this video has gone up, you and several others have told me and I have learned for future use.
sophia brown girl I hate to say this but despite trying to showcase your glasses all that I notice is your heavily painted brows. I get that you're 'trying' to go for that thick 'in' brow that many of us want however there is a secret to the method. Don't get me wrong Anastasia dip brow works wonders for the 'heavy' brow but in the most aesthetically pleasing shade for your complexion/hair color, otherwise you end up with brows that honestly look like a 2 year old did them with a sharpie. Your brows are very distracting, they take over your face. Your a beautiful girl, don't cover up your natural beauty
Jamie Rose hi! thank you for your concern, but as this video is 2 years old i’m assuming you would figure out that i have gone to a different way of doing my eyebrows. personally i choose an eyebrow colour that is closer to my natural brow hairs (which are black). i understand that it is not everyone’s taste, but at this point this was how i liked to do my eyebrows. thank you for being polite but i’m really tired of receiving the same type of comment on older videos.
