There's something really nice about STG's channel in that you can feel the aspiration, and the hard work and the fulfilment that comes from achieving things. There's lots of great RU-vidrs out there with loads of cars (and I love their channels too don't get me wrong) but I always feel like with Sam you can "feel it" more and that's a really nice thing that deserves more subscribers than it has!
Absolutely bang on 👌 I really admire Sam's authenticity and genuine appreciation for his life. I really can't be doing with Shmee etc who have a real whiff of "do you know who I am?" about them, these days.
@@Kempy89 I have no problem with Shmee personally. He's a nice guy and his on screen persona is not the same as his off screen persona as I've noticed when he's on Sam's podcast. But Sam's channel is unique in my view and I really like it for that. Each to their own. :)
I agree....and I think I know who you're talking about when you mention other youtubers....it's hard to really be 'happy' for him/them as it's seems to be just 'too easy' now and it's just one thing after another.....but with Sam, he really deserves the spoils he works so hard for.
100% there is more "at stake" if that makes sense. It makes it better since you know its really Sams passion here and he's not just collecting checks with no stress. he's putting work in
EXACTLY THE SAME! i dont know whats about sam but i crave those sunday mornings drinking a cappuccino and watching the new video. He has such a sunday bad weather chilled vibe. its insane
Hey mate, you're supposed to put / leave the F1 tranny into 1st gear when shutting the car down. That's why its "yelling" / beeping around 5:40 mark. When entering the car, turn ignition ON, wait for OK at center display (very very important!) and then pull the paddles to put the car Neutral. Only then start it. Believe me, I had 360 for 5 years + this is described at the User Manual 🙂
😂😂 that feeling of coming around the corner, facing a cop, knowing that all they just heard is your car. Absolutely love the content so happy for the new car and all of the new journeys that you’re gonna be going on. Can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2024.
CS looking sweet glad it went well for the first trip Sam. Nice to see you in the car park at the old railway in Tetbury, I was the motorbiker covered in mud😂
Hey Sam, I notice you park the car in neutral. The Ferrari manual states that the F1 system should be kept in gear when parking, without handbrake. It's why it makes the long beep every time you turn off the ignition, to warn you about being in neutral. I have a question about parking in cities like Paris. Do you somehow check beforehand if ground clearance in a parking garage will be an issue, or do you just wing it and hope for the best? I usually take another car to city trips, but it would be much nicer to bring the Ferrari and get rid of parking anxiety.
Yeah and the "starting sequence" also differs from manual tranny 360. Hope he knows how to drive the automated gearbox aka F1 tranny car. Its significant different than manual tranny.
Absolutely love how much sam drives his cars. So cool. Also side note, I find it truly amazing just how different that rosso scuderia paint looks in different shots depending on the lighting, almost looked orange at the start sat in windrush
You gotta love Sam and his passion. He is intense as a kid realizing his dreams. I drive barely 60 cars a year and I can say a lost that excitement about special cars and he didn’t. I hope he never loses the enthusiasm, that’s what makes his channel as good as it is.
Great to see a you tuber that is not afraid to use his cars in all conditions unlike some who buy them show them off then you never see the car again until they do a garage update and it’s been sold no content whatsoever apart from look what I’ve got
The difference between a automotive RU-vidr and a civilian that owns exotics ... Sam has done 600 miles in his CS in 2 months and thinks it's not a lot...I have done 1800 miles in an exotic car I bought in 2020 and 700 more miles in another exotic I bought in 2018 - and I feel LUCKY!!!
@@SuperKimjong - yes, well that car was bought when it was 20 years old, and it was in need of some TLC so it was being worked on for a fair amount of time
OMG Sam, the smiles on your face while driving the CS say it all! I think Vicky feels a bit worried if she sees this video cause she might dropped to 2nd place ;)
Love the content Sam. It is great to see someone desire a car, work for years to obtain, and then enjoy. Too many RU-vidrs buy crazy cars and are excited to spec and then get them, then they move on to the next one for content. Love the channel. I just bought my dream Ferrari and I never intend on selling it.
This really is enjoyable to watch - your passion shines through and this isn't just a "purchase", it's a heart-felt dream realised. Love the update, look forward to this becoming another high-mileage hero.
Sam on the sports seats and touring it’s worth thinking about raising them slightly. Superformance do a kit which has several heights to adjust to. In my F430 it’s the lack of thigh support over long distances that I needed to sort out. The kit works
My favourite Ferrari of all time, fortunate enough to get a drive in one at a supercar day out at ingliston In Edinburgh, proper old skool almost go kart like, loved every second of it
Great video man. Loved the way the French police officers immediately started smiling when they saw the beautiful Ferrari pulling up. I'm happy for you that you get to drive your dream car. The 360 CS is absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Enjoy it.
regarding the seats, I could be wrong, but I believe that the shell is the same one for the different sizes and is the amount of padding which changes the size inside of the seat. People usually reduce the size of the foam to have more room inside the seats instead of changing the whole seats to supposedly get a different size
I really love your style of video Sam, you are just a normal bloke living your normal life, you just happen to own some of the coolest cars and show us what it's like to live with them :') ❤️
Great vid! Lovely to sit down and watch start to finish, hopefully your watch time reflects that. Any more trips planned to Scotland? The scenery combined with your skills makes fantastic videos.
With regards to the Bluetooth solution: even with limited (automotive) DIY experience you can easily replace the head unit with one that has working Bluetooth. Longer term it might nice to update speakers as well..
In all honesty that bill wasn’t too bad Sam all things considered. I’ve a 360 obsession starting and I know how that ends up although it won’t be any time soon! I’ll enjoy your adventures in the meantime!
I would look into having the seat center sections foam replaced rather than chucking the seats altogether. That engine sounded great on the backroads. Wonderful car.
Medium carbon seats in my 360 are super comfortable. They are finished in leather though, maybe that is why you are feeling a difference from your previous 360. The medium are not tight fitting buckets.
I like the FM transmitter. I think they are massive under rated for classic cars rather than a garish car play. However has taken me yesrs to fond one that is subtle and doesnt have a million different lights
Not going to lie, those repair costs actually seem reasonable. Also my friends dad had a Modena but with the black interior, he also put a sound system in it with two subwoofers and an amplifier, it sounded great!
Im picking up on a few things……I dont see the same genuine spark with this car that you had with the modena. You picked a few things that the modena had better. I have both, and the modena is gated, i like the strad because its a strad but the modena is the car of the two for me. Ive got similar upgrades as you had, and its perfection to me. If you ever genuinely feel the modena was better it would be great to get the genuine talk on the comparisons. If your ever in Aus your welcome to take mine on your trips here. Love the show, but 🙏 please more 360 content.
I would strongly recommend using a pair of noise canceling headphones for long motorway commutes. I use Bose qc 35 in my old Cayman and they transform the comfort level for high speed long distance travel. Plus I can have actual phone conversations with people 😂
Sam you need to come drive the rockies here in Alberta through to BC in canada to enjoy some nice scenery, it will add to your drive the world experience! Come visit august motorcars
Hey dude, Idk if youre even gonna see this comment but im an American in Germany with an Alfa Romeo Giulia Q4 (quite modified) and I live in Stuttgart. Planning to do some twisty road driving through alps, France, Italy this year. Probably gonna visit lake como as well in may. If you wanna link up lemme know.
