I’m not a barista, i work retail, but idk what it is about these videos that make me happy to work. It feels so refreshing to know other people work with the public too and are harrassed by mean people but still manage to be a hard worker and keep a smile on their face. 😂❤️
This is amazing, the best part of the video was when you showed espresso shots being poured into the cup (that, and the sounds of beans when you pour them into the Mastrena are amazing!) On average, around 3 months depending on how often that person works. When you make drinks every single day all day, it becomes second nature quicker than you think.💕
It can depend on how you’re trained and taught to organize the drinks in your mind but I would say the average is 2 months, with it usually being at least 2-4 months before someone is completely confident on bar
For me it was surprisingly easy, I got it within like a month and a half, I watched videos on espresso drinks as well and it’s basically the same variation of a few drinks just made differently like the difference between a macchiato and a latte is the espresso is added after the milk in a macchiato making it unmixed unlike a latte when the espresso is added before the milk
I always wanted to work at Starbucks after my experience at @dunkin for 5 yrs total. I feel like Starbucks is the Apple of the coffee world and I’m Big Apple. Your videos really helped me in confirming that I’ve been making drinks right or wrong and I want to thank you. Love the aesthetic too. Hello! I have a question. I want to apply for a job at Starbucks. Do you know how long it took you to master making drinks and memorize all the recipes? That's the only thing I'm intimated by lol 😂 messing up special drink orders too. Also, are your coworkers easy to work with and kind to you?
@@kristinaj638 hey Krissy❕ you should definitely apply. Like any job all it takes is repetition. You’ll naturally memorize the drinks just based off making them everyday especially the most popular few drinks. It took me about 1 month but tbh it helped that I worked at a coffee shop before. But that shouldn’t discourage u. Because you’ll be making the same drinks everyday then it will b effortless. You have to mess up when you first start or you’re literally not a human being. No one’s that great lol. In regard to coworkers, that’ll depend strictly on the people involved. You may have coworkers that become your best friends and then 1 coworker you can’t stand. @@redss111 lol not sure if you’re still wondering but my train took about 2 and a half to three weeks! Then I was a barista but being supervised by my trainer for a while, then a full on barista!
The sugar cookie latte was automatically with oat milk here in Canada, it was actually in the name! It's been by far my favorite starbucks drink to date!
since I came across your videos I began to experiment at my Starbucks stand and came up with a few drinks that I like. mostly refreshers but I may just experiment with hot drinks tomorrow when I go to work 😊
I love Starbucks!! I usually just buy the Starbucks keurig pods, Starbucks creamer, and the Starbucks syrups and make my own creations at home! Plus I can use my yeti rambler and it stays hot all day! But sometimes when I don’t have time to make my own I’ll resort to the Starbucks drive through!
At first glance it seemed that you made the last drink wrong, but after watching the video a couple of times I realized how carefully you make the drinks: a venti iced mocha/ latte has 3 shots of espresso and so you split the double shot and allowed only one of the jets to enter the cup ... allowed the 4th shot to pour outside the cup. Wow! :)

So yesterday was my 2nd day of officially working at Starbucks I feel like such a burden I don’t know how to do anything. I used to work at Chick-fil-A I was there for a year but still Starbucks and Chick-fil-A is totally different especially when it comes down to placing an order at Chick-fil-A there’s a bare minimum customization to your order but a Starbucks there’s a lot . I feel like I’m going to forget how to make a drink or I’m just never going to get it right.. I mean as far a training they sorta just threw me in there and I was like woah. Please help I never ever been a barista this is my first try

Quick question :)for the Carmel ribbon crunch frap I usually put 3 pumps of dark Carmel like you did but on the app it says 5 for grande… should it be 5 or 3?
it’s only 3 pumps for a grande size, but I find that the dark caramel taste doesn’t truly come through so sometimes I sneak in an extra pump for customers. While 5 probably tastes better, it’s not the standard we learn -hope this helps!
I’m a food handling-safety nerd. Lol pls don’t karen me, but my biggest fear when eating out is people not changing their gloves between handling money and making food/drinks. 💩
