This run is 2 hours of cool MIDI pitch bending music we all love last year I got to access some XQ soundfonts for FireRed LeafGreen now I can make HD MIDI remasters of the soundtrack! MIDI sounds better than the AGB stuff as overall MIDI makes better quality audio all around!
Completely finished the two hours, this run is incredible. I can't even imagine how many times you tried to learn the path. And how many times you just didn't had enough luck I understand the screams now, you must go a little bit more crazy each time 😂
I've always said this, but I don't like myself as a content creator. I hate people who scream, I don't enjoy that kind of content. However, this is the way it comes out. I don't fight it, it's the way I like to feel stuff. I like being myself, even if it's annoying, "cringey" or whatever. I know you are not saying this in a bad way, I didn't get it that way at all! But it's always made me think and doubt. Now I just let myself go whenever I feel like I have to and I am more quiet whenever I want. I live happy that way!
That's in order to keep being in torrent for the upcoming levels despite gaining HP as we level up. Torrent boosts our water type moves by 50% if we are below 33% HP or less.

Honestly it's just a very strong move! 95 power, 15 PP and STAB boosted it melts through many things in the run, especially when you combine it with Torrent, our ability. It's a little bit overpowered really.
Hey! Both are equally fast, but in leaf green you can sometimes catch a Sandshrew after Mt moon as your cut user (he can also learn strength, and teaching strength to him is faster than Blastoise because you don't need to overwrite a move)
blue is the fastest speedrunner he can always beat the elite four faster than red which means blue can beat all 8 gyms and the elite four in under 2 hours
That's so that the NPCs in the overworld do not mess with the RNG. Every 32 frames they can move, which would make the RNG advance by 2 frames. Since I can't see them nor can I control their movement, I open the bag, which freezes them for also 32 frames.
In order to manipulate Squirtle's stats, you need to hit a specific frame. If overworld NPCs move, they can mess the timing up. To try to prevent this, we deload them as fast as possible by getting far away from them, but we also open the bag to prevent them from moving.
You need to wait for the 3 beeps to get the squirtle anyway, so you have plenty of time until you get there. If I only tried to go as fast as possible on getting Squirtle I would always get an unrunnable one, making it impossible to complete the game quickly. That's why I go left of the house and I open my bag: I want to make the RNG manipulation as consistent as possible by making the off-screen NPCs not move. If they move and I don't see it, they advance the RNG, and the result will be inconsistent.

@@getoutmygame1548yes it's glitchless (any% just means you finish the game, not that you use glitches). The thing is, glitches are anything that makes the game behave like it shouldn't. With rng manipulation you do make the game behave as intended, you just weren't supposed to know how it works.
