i have the children of a bird that survived a hawk attack and made it back to her loft... and her (later) mate, who was on someone's race team until he hurt his wing. in any race, i thik, the "heart" and determination of a bird to keep going- like cher ami- is critical. please let me know if some of Major Tom's kids are available for sale- if i have money i will be interested. @@RFRP

Thanks!! Oooo that is a tough question. I have a lot of new pigeons that have not been tested yet so it is difficult to say. Of my older breeders The Cuevas Hen, 278 and Marie Curie have all produced winners and breeders of winners.

i reserved a single perch... (money you know) but am hoping to scrape together the funds to at least send a pair. still you have to start somewhere! there is also a smaller LOCAL (no shipping) one loft race that i will be entering. @@RFRP

The Hoosier was very disappointing indeed. Such sweeping losses 😳😭 I likely won’t be sending to there next year.

@@djcrayze1 Wow!! HUGE Congrats to you my friend! Hope you can buy that special bird back! Any birds that made it back on the day of the final are the best out there. I will stand by my statement that I’m disappointed in the sweeping losses. I don’t have a problem with the decision to go ahead and release the birds late in the final. What a headache that must have been for Jim.

@@RFRP lets see how it goes we have gotten calls from all the prestigious. lofts around the country, asking questions you know how that goes so I’m sure that some of the big pockets are going to go at it, but will be here to show a fight haha …. it’s tough being in their position that’s all I can imagine making a tough decision that basically determines everyone’s fae at the end of the day I just think that it’s even for everyone. The same thing is happening to everyone no one is getting an advantage was it tough one definitely, they really need to figure out how to oil their machine because it’s not working how they got things going I asked myself every day. Are these birds really getting trained to the fullest and I really don’t think so so you better send the best of the best that wants to go back home!
