Badimations I think he means smaller “sub” muscles that aid the main muscles, they’re usually not worked out unless you’re doing some repetitive movement
If someone who is reeeeeally good at video editing would remove the wheel itself so it looks like this dude is just straight up flying, I would really appreciate it
@@genuineghoul3452probably not. I mean, in photoshop, you can literally just use the healing brush tool. Probably harder for a video, but still pretty simple sounding.
They open up their hand and push on the tube with their palm. If their knuckles touched the ground it would definitely crush their fingers pretty badly
1.Do you think I'm too old for this? (56 next month) 2. suggestions for some kind of workout glove to protect fingers, palmar pads. 3 good sources of information on the net?
+Daniel Olson 1. Never! 2. I have used all sorts of gloves and all have failed me after a month or so. Now I just build the calluses tough :) 3. I would suggest joining one of the Cyr Wheel groups on Facebook. Lots of vids posted and resources within.
When you wanna be a Quarter, dime, nickel or penny. Edit: Holy shit, this was 2 years ago?! Already?! 😱 *Nov. 6, 2022* Edit: Back on April 13th, 10:55P.M. got caught drinking at work yesterday. Lol.
My hat is off to you! Not only are you branching out and trying something new, but you're not afraid to do it in public. You fail, and you fall, and that's what keeps you learning! To be able to let go of your ego can often be the biggest hurdle of trying something new! Well done!
We so often forget how much work it was to become skilled at the things we are skilled at and instead believe everything we are now good at came naturally and everything we are bad at is just beyond us.
I never realize I was holding my breath until you would start practicing on grass and I would resume breathing for a moment. Great job. I feel like I would need to learn how to do this with a helmet
Dude. That was awesome. Your tenacity is totally paying off. Don't listen to the jerkwads. I was riveted the whole time and I have zero attention span.
*me before watching*: "stupid" *starts watching* : "see? Stupid. Won't be finishing this one" *finishes video* : "he is sensei and I must master cyr wheel😑"
Man Awesome, I can't believe how fast you picked this up. I have never seen this before seeing a young oriental man working that wheel as an extension of his body. In 30 days, you are doing great, I imagine that if you keep at it, you will be able to make that wheel yours. Thanks for sharing.
To whoever reads this, I hope you have a wonderful day and no matter what stay happy as that is what matters most in life, You are truly amazing and no one can ever take that away from you, Be happy and enjoy life, We don't have long on earth so make the most of it, Have a wonderful day, (Written by Matt Barbour, so not me. But I thought it looked nice so I shared it)
RU-vid created a new algorithm for the new year and tons of people got this reccomended after never even knowing about cyr wheels. 2020 is your year dude
It was cool seeing your commitment get better in the first few days. At first you were afraid to get going and do the spin on your side, but by like day six you were committing to it and nailing it. Awesome progress video
+misterhamez for spirals and coins, all you need to do is lift your fingers from under the wheel, making them flat in order to keep them from getting destroyed.
Awesome! I noticed your momentum always almost seems to be pushing forward... from your head toward the ground. Do you think you'll every be able to execute tricks going backwards??? It would be awesome to see backflips and stuff, switching from forward momentum to backwards momentum O.o
Yup, all the moves seen in the vid are initiated by my left foot, sending all weight forward to my right hand. Same is true for using your right foot to go over backwards to your left hand. I'll wear a helmet for that :)
Just curious where did you order this from? Ive heard "Circus Concepts" is a good place to find one. Is your's aluminum or steel? Btw fuckin awesome video.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it :) Both wheels are aluminum tubing with solid steel inserts. The oversized wheel was about 35 lbs and the proper wheel is around 30 lbs. I recommend checking out Bill Roberts in Ocala, FL. He ships wheels all over the world: www.etsy.com/shop/FloridianForge
+Christian Horn the horny christian Surprisingly, I have only ran over my fingers a couple of times. It's not that bad. Just a bruised nail bed for a week or so :/
@@acethetics3878 Where are you located? That awesome you have a teacher nearby. Around day 21 I met up with a cyr performer for an hour. It was an instant boost in understanding of the wheel. Wish I had recorded that. Lessons abound! Where are you in the process right now?
Hey! Sorry for the late update. I currently live in San Diego. I have my basics down, and starting on some inversion moves. I have my 30 day project done! It’s on my Instagram @_acethetics_ if you wanna check it out!
Thanks for this video! I'm so scared to start this because I've failed several times! Seeing your video, I understand that you can achieve anything if you try!
