If you want to rent an apartment in America that has a garage that you can park your car in, those type of apartments normally start at $800 or $900 per month. Otherwise, you will probably have to rent/buy a house. They recently came out with those turn knob transmissions on cars in America. When normal Americans, like me, first saw them, we thought, "Someone is going to confuse the transmission for the music volume or vice versa, turn it, and either the music will be very loud while not moving or you will start going in reverse when you wanted to go forward, and crash into somebody when you just wanted to turn the volume up. It was a horrible idea for car companies to ever start doing this. 🤦

Newbie po dito sa US 2months palang po, all by myself...struggling to adjust. No car this time, ng lilyft/uber for now minsan kikihitch sa ibang pinoy. Ung apartment nkuha ko mahal, yun na kasi safest na mawalk to facility ko. Adjusting sa language (southern accent) 🥴 Sa work aadjust din po. My time nakaka overwhelm tlga. Sana makaya lahat 🙏

U can take ielts first then Ielts.... easy and fastest way, to get it from NY.. to go their BOn website and see the requirements... then u can transfer ur license once u already have an employer

I have been there, but i looks more like a Mixture of City area and suburb area... which is better as compared here in our area... and you are closer to Nashville Tennese, which is a Plus (in my perspective).
Ang dami palang struggle dyan its Gods will na rin na di ako natuloy dyan. Not bragging but im satisfied na rin here in kuwait no tax free accommodation electricity water transportation to work pareho lang din salary dyan. Ipon ipon na lang for retirement and enjoy life for travelling siguro kung nandyan ako baka stress cause me to shoot up my Bp hypertension pa naman ako.
Ung sweldo na yan po kc sa agency lng. Pero after, pwede ko na xang ma double or triple depending sa diskarte... based sa mga kasama mo po na from kuwait, mas ok pa din ung work environment dito. Lalo na sa work as compared sa kuwait... pero, xempre may ups and downs din... 😁 but tama po kayo... nasa plano tlga yan ni lord... 😁

A lot mag sasabi sir na better if mauna ung mga magulang lng, Pero so far ung mga mag asawa na nauna dito, with their anak, wala namn naging problema... kayang kaya.. basta maka work lng kayo, kahit part time lng yun isa, pwede eh.. den salitan sa pag batay.. kakayanin supportahan... May prob din kc pag nauna kau eh. Lalo na now may pandemic. Cno mag dadala sa bata papunta dito. Ung travel restrictions. Paper works. Etc. And mas masaya if sabay sabay na kau... This Advice came from sa kasama ko dito na may 5 anak. 😁

Depende if saan parte ka daw. Kc ung house director ko from arkansa.. ayaw nya na tlgang bumalik doon daw. Swap.. bundok, and farm lands.. hahaha... sabi lng nya un ah... hehe... hinde pa ako naka punta.... pero im sure may mga establishment din yan....
And yes, for inang bayan. Hahaha. Pero ok ung ganung set up, para chill lng ung transition... and mababait ung mga tao sa ganyan places... kaya oks yan. 👌
Like i said po, hinde tlga sila consistent.. hehe... depende sa part ng State din or county.... Pero, cguro dahil kay Covid, hinde sila maxadong nakaka pag schedule, kaya medyo mas gumaan ung patakaran nila. Pero hinde lahat ng County. Like may isang county dito (as based sa local news) hinde na nil pinapa drive test para maka kuha ng license dahil nga sa covid situation. So may best advice sa inyo, is mag iwan ng authorization letter sa pinas to process the paperworks for the International license if kailangan... Para if need, pa process nyo na lng sa kanila gaya nung sa akin.

4-5 days ata... andun ung sa vid ung date tlga. 1 day lng ung doon sa pag process sa Office para international license. Tapos delivery na lng ung ibang days.

It depends po sir saan state.... may kasama kc ako, from middle east, sa NC xa, hinde tlga pumayag na gamitin ung license nya. Kahit international. Dito sa KY, nag written exam lng ako, then swap na ng driver's license to us.... hinde consistent ung mga DMV offices dito...kaya its best to prepare everything na lng...

I did not avail.. same with my coworker... both of us were scared of driving kc.. hehe... newbie driver... In my mind- New YORK or manila traffic style driving.. which i wasn't ready then yet.
