Nice video - good tips - especially the common mistakes remind me on my own ones :D But I think frontroll, kiteloop and darkslide are definitely not easy beginner tricks :) Beginner tricks are backroll, jump transition, jibe with downloop and so on. You say at about 0:55 min - that you should pop out of the water for a backroll, but later at 2:50 you say that you go straight into the rotation for a backroll (without popping) :) For front roll.. don't park your kite at 45 degrees - you send it by 12pm.... check your own kite at step 6 ;) Have fun on the water🤙
Nice, could you post some more challenging ones eg dangle pass, back loop kite loop where you add another late rotation, raley to blind or wrapped, inverted front rolls. There's no one out there doing basic free style tricks, surf passes and where to go with handle pass progressions. Hope your injury is healing well. All the best for 2023 @Pippa Van Iersel
You are a great rider and I am glad to see you back on the water! Your recovery was inspirational. Backroll and frontroll... ok, but don't call anything involving a kiteloop very easy. Looping the kite before the apex, while riders looking for easy tricks probably don't have the height for a successful catch, is a recipe for hard landings and injuries
Tighten your core before you pull a kiteloop for more control. Thanks for the frontroll tips, i always pull a loop when i'll try a frontroll. I can do high loops but no frontrolls😅
Step 1 : put your kite at 45 degrees Step 2 : place hands middle of bar Step 3 : carve aggressively But i see by step 2 and 3 that the kite almost at 12 stands ????
Backroll is a beginner trick you should get it by the 3rd attempt at the most , though 45degrees is abit low yes you will keep forward momentum but it is a little too fast to start with, 11 o'clock is better and with a big kite that won't move like a 15 and then steer forward when you spot the landing
I didn't find anything that can be described as "beginner" in this video. Beginner - some who just did a first ride and may be can do a ride back to the beach.
Feel like there’s a lot more info that could be given with each trick. Especially for the kiteloop, I would not recommend it for anyone that is not ready to be 100% committed and willing to take a few crashes. It’s important to face down the kite with your body as it loops, or else it will throw you into a rotation and you’ll tuck yourself up. Also, don’t learn kiteloops in boots. Terrible idea.
