Hi Kanz, thanks for playing this game. so Coral Island is based on Indonesia Folklore, do you ever heard of Bali? Bali is in Indonesia, all the shrine is based on shrine that exist in Bali, Indonesia. sesajen is Indonesia word for Offering, you will find a lot of sesajen in bali especially in front of people houses, it is a culture and religions (hinduism). a lof of those carvings on the shrine is the hallmark of shrine or gate house sculpture in Bali. because the developer is from Indonesia, therefore they want to bring up Indonesian folklore/culture.

it looks great! I am in the same island with the devs and excited to see what they add from our diverse cultures and what they do for game design and aesthetic standpoint. So far I see Joko wear a slightly formal local attire from the devs' city (Yogyakarta / Jogjakarta).

Hi Kans, love your videos . Glad to see you are playing coral island, I've been waiting for the game for so long. It's nice to see others having fun with it, although I think you are missing a bit of the dialogue. Normally you can talk to the characters twice or thrice to complete a conversation. And they don't repeat stuff. The Devs worked really hard on everything on the game. Oh and yes the Devs are mainly Indonesian and the game is inspired by an Indonesian island and culture. And for the Mx. Thing those are gender neutral honorfics. There's also custom options as the devs have been dedicated to including people from all walks of life. They are really cool. I hope you really enjoy the game, love your videos.

In case you don't know, you can slow the time up to 50% if you find the time passes too fast. It's like Portia and Sandrock which is a feature I love.

This game is so awesome! Sadly it's another PC only game so I can't play but thanks for sharing it with us all. Also I lost it laughing on festival day when you're like oh decorations, dog! Kanz overwhelmed & distracted easily but most of us do that too 🤣

They do plan on bringing this to console after the official release. I know Nintendo doesn't really allow early access releases.

Interesting...I have this on GamePass now because I have the $1 deal for a couple more weeks, and I have no images on the tv programs. I'm planning on buying on Steam. Wondering if GamePass isn't reflecting patches?

Usually for Patches, Developers have to go through a Verification Process with Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo (depending on what platform is being used) on every Update they do, so most likely you will get faster updates on Steam.
