@@ROMSradio Because she was the richest girl in Laguna Beach with the most goody goody exterior. Life is unfair and some people like her don't need to lift a finger to be 'successful' but I don't consider that true success when she didn't actually have to work for it.

@@ania5038 But she did work for it, she worked hard in college and then started 2 fashion lines. One she partnered with Kohl’s and the other Paper Crown is a high end line. Yes she was given opportunities like the shows but she used that to get her foot in the door to Teen Vogue. That’s where she gained so much experience. Heidi and Spencer were given opportunities and they squandered them. Kristen , Whitney , Audrina and Lo all used their opportunities to further their careers. It all depends how how motivated you are.

At the time I always thought Lauren was in the right. But now watching it older and more mature I realize that she was wrong. Constantly vying for and flirting with Steven when he was with Kristen was totally wrong and she should have kept out of their relationship.

@@christianWilliams-pc4jn but all three of them say that what happened was Stephen pursued Lauren during a break up with him and Kristin. Then he lied to Lauren and Kristin and eventually they met up in a bathroom and told each other what Stephen had been saying and realized he was lying to them both. So really it’s Stephen’s fault not them lol

@@christianWilliams-pc4jn I mean, she wasn’t friends with Kristen and they’ve both said that even before the Stephen situation they didn’t like each other. Lauren didn’t owe her anything, and Stephen was her friend. Stephen if anything was the only one who should have not went along with it.

I´m 25 but even I was very young, I remember Lagucha Beach and The Hills very clear... what a great show was TH!! Love Lauren and all her life.. I wish we can have another serie like this one or at least the opportunity to re-wach (I´m from Argentina and here we can see it in MTV´s page)

@@lenamarie8521 Actually, if you see the interviews and everything that Kristin did, you would see that they did paint her as the bad guy. Kristin said she even cried when she first saw the epis. She was mad because producers would force Stephen to take Lauren out and give her flowers when in reality, he was interested in only Kristin. Lauren was a homewrecker, trying way too hard to get with Stephen.

Especially the one where Kristen said she was very immature in high school and has grown out of her ways not only did she say that in interviews she said it in her new show. She was the bully in high school EVERYONE has said it but she has grown out and is a very awesome person now. Also I think we all know it’s TV and not everything is real, however the entire cast had said everyone’s personalities were close to how they were portrayed, just more exaggerated.

The production wants it, there is no real beef between Lauren and Kristin. The production used them for rating. Well, we enjoy it when it was aired but watching it now made me realise that most of these are scripted.
