first aid kit is basically a 70s band in 2018 and I'M HERE FOR IT. Beautiful songs and aesthetic

I discovered First Aid Kit several years ago watching RU-vid videos and I was hooked mediately.

This is a beautiful country and western song. Even if they forgot to mention mama , prison, or gettin' drunk.

The presenter is in fact their Swedish uncle :)

This sounds EXACTLY like the album track, but I know it has to be live because she doesn't say, "Play it for us, Steve," on the album. (She says, "Pick it for me, James." 😊) Seen them live twice and I can verify that these two are the real deal. So much talent!!!

I wish that every Country music today should sound more authentic like this than those shitty pop country. You can tell that these girls are influenced by Emmylou Harris, Gram Parsons and the rest of Country legends. Young people should take note of that.

The girls are obviously fans of this recording as evidenced by Emmylou and the video. Seriously check out Return of the Grevious Angel track. Its even better than Postcards as a track in itself.
