Miguel should've been asked how he felt when the peaceful protesters he was chanting & dancing with began to bully Jewish students. The protesters formed an unbreakable chain by interlocking arms and barring Jewish students from entering campus. I saw that with my own two eyes.
Don’t these large universities get funds from Arab countries? some of whom commit serious human rights violations. Is this lad asking for that money to be refunded?
Where are the alumni? Don't they donate money to these universities? When the alumni pull their money from these indoctrinating universities? The students are there to get an education, not to protest, especially with paid activists pushing the protests.
If these students don’t want to go to class, then they need to go home. These protest are scaring , intimidation, and interrupting all students. They’ll do this in the work force after graduation.

Miguel was very well spoken. So far out of all the footage I have watched he is the only one I feel grasps the true complexity of the situation and isn’t just there as another useless social justice warrior with no real agenda other then their own. All these students demanding Universities stop funding the conflict while walking around in their name brand clothing and tents by companies that also support war, conflict and militaries.

The irony of these students to forget how their family members made their fortune and continues to with their portfolios and retirement plans and yet quick to criticize schools and others before their own. Even their own lifestyles goes against their ideals. There is an old saying "get your house in order, before trying to fix others."
The problem here and with every protest is, it never helps it always makes things worse. If they notice nothing changes with them ever! All that it ever creates is anger, violence and separation. Things will continue to get worse with people who do this!

When you buy stock the company doesn’t get the money, unless it’s an IPO. The companies the students are talking about are past the IPO phase. Therefore, the university is not funding war just profiting off of it. These students obviously are not finance majors or never have had money to invest or else they would know that.

I agree with their stance on the issues, but I have to ask: what do they think they're accomplishing here? They're not proving anything everyone doesn't already know, nor is their doing this going to change anything in the MIddle East. Seems to me that a real protest in the US would be something that gets US laws changed, but that wouldn't fix the Middle East. I just don't see the point in their doing this.
Also how daft are you: they want Yale to announce their funding of Israeli war effort. He said that several times. Yale Divesting From Israel is the request. It'll influence politics and other universities, ideally. Protesting something very specific on a legal basis to our government is also a very common protest.
