Sounds like Paul Heggen is on vacation for the last few days due to his birthday. Now Peck is filling in, last 2 years it was Hackney. I’ll take it…Peck does an awesome job explaining many of these recent weather events and I understood a ton. Great meteorologist/fill-in meteorologist KPIX has
The winds were so strong on Monday that they shook my whole house in San Rafael. Sand-sized dirt, not just dust, drifted down from the main floor onto my ground-floor counters, tables, etc. Usually only an earthquake does this. The wind also tore off a big piece of my roof, which I found hanging on my fence the next morning. What a winter and early spring! Never will I complain about too much rain (and snow in the mountains) after the terrible drought we’ve had for the last 20 years, but it would be great if this stormy pattern comes to a close soon. It was nearly 60F today, but the strong afternoon wind made it feel much, much colder outside, and drafty indoors nearby my old, leaky windows. But, here we go again, at least one more round of storms!
Something about this guy’s delivery and consistent repetition of themes is very informative. Also lol at getting the spare bedsheets over the delicate plants
@@Nerval-kg9sm Yes, my power does go out for days. You should always be prepared for that… no matter what part of Ca. you live in. Roof used to leak but we fixed that cheaply and easily. Quoted $10,000 for roof repair and fixed it ourselves with a roll of Flex Tape. We also maintain defensible space in the summer. You unpreparedness is the issue, not the glorious rain.
@Joe Mama When did I say we didn’t need it??!! I said nothing of the kind, Dude! I want it to keep coming!! But your comment 20 hours ago about it not ending, sure reads like your complaining…
Does anyone know why its ALWAYS Tues that rained the most in the past months or so? Seems like it will target next Tue to be the big down pour day again. Its just very odd to be right on Tue, like someone planned all out.
I asked myself the same question….Maybe Paul Heggen or Darren Peck can answer that 😂 But very odd, this would be the third Tuesday this month it happened
Love that term "FLOODING MESSAGING" ! Now that should ..."Scare The Chicken's" ! Also 'FROST ADVISORIES" but Low Temps are reported as 40-41 degrees (figure that one out )????
