Very professional attitude both in person and online. An example of the kind of interaction every law enforcement representative should employ. Great video Battousai :)
Dan Kinney - I so want to believe this was a genuine response that any citizens would receive, but I just have this gut feeling that Mr Battousai is so well known, that they couldn't help but trip over themselves trying to respond to his requests for action... I don't want to be a cynic, I want to believe this is how everyone is treated, but if this is the genuine response, kudos to that guy, I hope nobody ever changes him... I just have a salty aftertaste from other videos...
I have to go with Damon on this one, Bob. I think your past experience with law enforcement has radicalized you to the extent that you feel that every PD is evil and suspect. I can understand your suspicion, but everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt to begin with. People are innocent until PROVED guilty. Without any proof that they even *recognized* Philip, I feel you animosity is generally unwarranted.
Damon Manda - I've been to larger departments in california, this is nowhere near the response I have gotten, no overly courteous response, no forms, and I was immediately put on the defense by them attempting to discourage me by their aggressive interrogation if I was somehow at fault and retaliating because I was pulled over for a traffic stop or because they arrested me for something... its this very type of typical attitude that is experienced day in and day out all over this country, and yes, in california... not just by myself, but from countless complaints and numerous videos supporting this very claim... so this is an abnormal encounter, which is why I said I don't want to be cynical, and I want this to be true, why are you having such a hard time understanding that? this is NOT normal, this is in fact abnormal, and I was highlighting that, I was not saying this isn't true, its just highly improbable as a result of so many experiences from so many people, this is to be commended but recognized for what it is, not normal... what is it you're struggling with, my desire to recognize this as amazing, or my desire to have the other police departments who don't act like this, to start acting like this, what aren't you understanding?
Dan Kinney - I don't think all departments are evil, I don't think all officers are evil, but I have stated in numerous ways, this is NOT the typical response nationwide, or in california for that matter, large or small department... my sheer shock after countless videos and attempts made myself, indicate this is something we NEED to replicate nationwide, this is something to be held up as THEE example for ALL departments... what is it you and Damon aren't understanding, my ability to recognize this is the superior response all should replicate, or the fact that this is so uncommon I am cynical about this as a result of Battousai being VERY well known in many areas around there now... in fact law enforcement officials down there now cite his case to get other officers off the hook for their current lawsuits, how ironic is that... don't tell me this is not an abnormal reaction, that guy was tripping over himself trying to be helpful, that is NOT typical, as evidenced by countless videos posted among these channels, and my own experiences replicating this in large departments and small departments nationwide... this is something to be admired but cautious with, if its true, I clearly stated I don't want this guy to change anything about what he does, because he is the national standard in this video, but I should be cynical, as there is overwhelming evidence this is abnormal...
Wow! is Irving always this accommodating, or is there something special about the complaintant? Looking forward to the day when all public servants act this professional, but I doubt I live that long. :) Good work, Battman! Freedoms & Rights not exercised are Freedoms & Rights soon lost.
He keeps trying to "convince Phillip to avoid the 'paper trail' and just make an audiotry complaint. he suggested it no less than three times, in fact. Good on you Phillip for not allowing the distraction and requiring the written complaint.
Ty so much for the video and ty for taking the time to do the video it help to know what to do if it was not for you and more ppl out there doing this we never know what to do so Ty so much my god be with you and pls be safe out there
Different jurisdictions have different laws. In CA you do not have to stop before entering the road way, all you have to do is yield to oncoming traffic regardless if there is a sign
Regardless is my word. When the law does not specify, "except when posted otherwise", it covers all entry into a road way. Stop signs exiting a business or a parking lot, are put there by the property owner, they are not enforceable by city, county or state code
Pisses me off to see all the cops in town run stop signs and not use their turn signals, not use their seat belts yet we have to where we get a citation.
What a very refreshing video! It's always good to see any LEO performing professionally and particularly so when it's an Internal Investigations Officer; or is it that your reputation maybe proceeds you - even so, it was a good result.
Wait, how did the suit know to run down to the lobby and intercept the Batt? By now, presumably, every LEO dept. in Texas watched Bee County Sheriff, etc. But this specific day - how did they know? Face recognition...that fast?
So much more professional than the lousy response I got from Delray Beach (Florida) Police, where the Chief basically rolled his eyes at the idea of his officers obeying traffic laws. His officers follow his lead, so of course they are still running that stop sign all day every day. At least Irving Police seem to take traffic violations by their officers seriously. There is still hope for them.
Yes Spork, it makes me sick every time I get a ticket for it. If I'm going to continue getting tickets, I'm going to continue exposing the hypocrites who write the tickets.
@Langdon That's the underlying real purpose of not having a pen is. Also, pens can and have been used as weapons, good idea to not carry one. I carry a pen every day.
I remember you saying they had already sent you an email about the complaint- did they say- or do you already know what the "punishment" will be? will they get a 'ticket' like the rest of us would get if we rolled a stop sign? or just a slap on the wrist?
Is that rhetorical? they will only receive a high five from their fellow domestic terrorists. Hope you enjoyed Texas, and remember to stay hydrated during all audits.
I've been ticketed several times for rolling stops. WTF is your point? Its against the fucking law and they are breaking it. What part of that do you NOT understand? DERP
Mr Sporks Evil Twin What part are you not getting . The part where he's famous or the part where EVERY judges , da , lawyer and cop in three state knows who he is .
The problem with their system is that failure to perform a duty they are required to perform and also breaking the law which is misconduct in office. If we are stopped it costs us alot of money. If they get this kind of complaint they get a slap on the wrist but misconduct is a fireable offense. Public servants are statutorily are held to a higher standard than the citizen, however in reality because we submit to their disciplinary system we have a system run amuck with hooligan public servants because their punishments are not fair and decided internally.
Hello Mr Turner. I understand you recorded with Laura from Los Angeles. I looked through her titles and yours but failed to find the behind the scenes interview where i can get to know you a little bit and hear what you have to say when you arent talking to the police. That last sentence I had to read a few times even though I wrote it. Can you give me a link if the type of video im requesting already exists? Thanks.
hey is there any way i can get into contact with you i wanna start getting into this sort of thing but i want to know some tips and tricks, and dos and donts
They'd have to be a pretty piss poor department if they didn't recognise who the batman is simply because of court cases involving police by now why do some police departments have a complaint form where it is listed as a sworn statement if it doesn't have to be a sworn statement
