First Attempt at Hydrogen Line Detection at 21 CM 

I have built a receive/transmit antenna for the resonate frequency of hydrogen at the frequency of 1.42 GHz. The idea years ago was that if there is "intelligence" similar to ours in the universe, they would know details of physics similar to what we know. We know (in out intelligence...) that the most common element in the universe is hydrogen and we know its resonate frequency is around 1.42 GHz. You can look up the exact frequency if you want to. So, we figured if we were looking for "them" and they were looking for "us" we might look around that RF frequency. Not necessarily that exact frequency as it would be very noisy but maybe just above or below that universal resonate frequency. As inspired by my very dear friends, I have made this antenna and can connect it into a receiver that displays its frequency spectrum and audio. What else could we ask for but to hear the sound of the moon, sun and stars. I hope everyone that views this video enjoys our efforts to see and listen to the cosmos.
