I'm thinking about getting the freeze dried peas just to eat. Just sounds good.

I made the mistake of purchasing the dishwasher gel.. it's no Bueno. Put scrubbed dishes In dishwasher and they ended up even dirtier after I ran my dishwasher. So.... I'm tossing it and purchasing the powder.

I wasn’t a fan of dish soap, it just can’t stand up to Dawn BUT I bought the bucket of the dish detergent and it last me a year exactly and that’s with running 2-3 loads/day. Just take not that the price has been increasing ($30 in that year’s time) but totally worth it

I used the rehydrated freeze dried peas in a pasta dish and they were so close to fresh. My husband thought they were fresh.

With the tomato and popcorn shortages, you may want to grab more pizza sauce and popcorn kernels.

I'm am following you for 2 months. I went to GMU in Virginia 30 years ago, so I have a special bound with the USA. I' m from Barcelona, Spain. Parella (original from València) Ingredients Ingredients for 10 people: 1 kg. rice, 2 kg. chicken, 1 kg. rabbit, 300 gr. tomato, 500 g. green beans, 250 g. garrofó (a variety of white bean used for making the typical Valencian paella), 100 g. peppers (optional), 2 dozen snails (optional), 3 dl. olive oil, few strands saffron, garlic (optional), sprig of rosemary (optional), 6 gr. paprika, salt and 3.5 l. water. Preparation Heat the oil in the paella pan, and when very hot, add the chicken and the rabbit cut into pieces. Sauté the meat until it is lightly browned. Add the peeled, de-seeded and chopped tomato and fry over gentle heat together with the pieces of pepper for 7 or 8 minutes. When this mixture is cooked, add a pinch of salt, the meat and the paprika and fry everything together taking care not to burn it. Add water to cover the mixture and leave to simmer. The time will depend on the consistency of the meat. For free-range poultry and rabbit, calculate 30 to 35 minutes. Ten minutes before the end of the estimated cooking time for the meat, add the beans and the garrofó; this will ensure they are not overcooked. This is the time to add the snails, previously purged. At the end of the cooking time add more hot water and allow to continue boiling for 3 or 4 minutes more. Add the saffron strands and the sprig of rosemary, adjust the seasoning and simmer for another five minutes. Then add the rice evenly to the pan and leave to cook for 5 or 6 minutes over high heat; the mixture will reduce a little. At the end of the cooking time remove from the heat and allow to stand for a few minutes until the remaining stock is absorbed by the rice.Another variety is the mixed paella, which may be made with ingredients such as mussels, shrimps, prawns, Dublin Bay prawns and squid. Presentation Serve in the same paella pan after leaving to stand for five or six minutes.

We love the grapes also. The key is to keep checking the price as it went up & down during the month. We were able to lock in the $5.30/lb price by placing the order. If you place the order early on it locks in the prices in the event that they go up. If they go down you can get the lower price by changing the qty & then change it back. But don’t change the qty if the price went up otherwise you will be subject to the higher price. This only works if your order is “placed”. Go to checkout & then place your order. 🙏🏻🌺

Goji berries are also supposed to be a super fruit. I have never tried them but I may very well order some since I found out you can order from them and have it sent to your home

I'll be sure to update when I use them. So far, they've been used as snacks just as they are.

I use the dishwasher powder from Azure and love it, though it took some trials to find the right amount that works best in our dishwasher. I buy the bag because I use an old coffee scoop to measure out the amount. I have not tried the dish soap but have used the laundry soap, which I have mixed feelings about. It cleans the clothes but even though it is "unscented" it has a scent, and I don't like it. It forces me to use a fragranced dryer sheet. I was using the unscented Natural Value brand of dryer sheet, also from Azure, but had to switch to Arm and Hammer Free and Clear while I use it up. I really need to bite the bullet and make my own but I already don't have enough time in the day! I also think the performance of a lot of dishwashing & laundry products depends on your water. Was just talking about that with someone at our Azure drop because she has a different water supply than we do (she's in the city limits and I am not) and she had different results. Some of it just depends too on what you are washing. We lightly rinse our dishes before putting in the machine and some folks just drop things in with all kinds of food particles and residues. Laundry can be the same issue... got kids in athletics or are you working with livestock all day? Well, you may need something stronger than I do for 3 people who spend their days on computers. On Azure produce, I'm a bit further from you in north GA and so far the only produce that survived well to us was sweet potatoes and I ended up not liking the variety anyway. Glad to know grapes might actually make it to me!

My last order was in March and Im placing an order this month. My next order will be December for citrus only. I love Azure! Thousand Hills brand is very good, we enjoy many of their products. Im not crazy about Nancy's products but the Straus brand is very good! I have the dish liquid in my cart but Im still unsure if Im going to get it. I have plenty stocked up but did want to try it to see if I will convert next year when I run out of my Dawn. I do love the powder washing detergent and decided to buy that by the 40# this time....hopefully they dont run out, it's been hard to order in the past.

The powdered detergent - for your washing machine? I haven't tried that but will look into it. I'm also not sure I can give up Dawn, even though I desperately want to. ha And I haven't done citrus yet from Azure...I'll think about that too. Thanks!

How are the milk products packaged so as not to spoil while en route to your home?
@TheHappyHomestead
@TheHappyHomestead 2 года назад
The cases are packaged with shrink wrap and cardboard base. Anything less than a case is actually packed into a box. I haven’t had any issues with dairy yet.
