First bald face hornet nest removal of 2024 early season hornets nest

This is the first bald face hornet nest I have w removed this year. Being in June the early heat wave has started the wasp and hornets season early this year. It is looking like this will be a big season so I’m excited for all the removals to come. We had to spray a bald faced hornets nest last night. It’s the first time in 23 years that we’ve ever found one on our property. Scary to say the least.

I invested in a Birchmeier power duster many years ago. It can hold 2.5kg of dust. Can charge it with my air compressor. That unit puts out a huge amount dust in seconds. You can charge it via built in hand pump as well. You take care of business in very creative ways. I want quick and gone, lol. Always enjoy your videos.

I already got stung by a few hornets at my farm, but I imagine I won't find their nest until it's the size of CRT TV and deadly.

Suggestion for a future vid: Try the cup/glass of gasoline trick with a baldfaced hornet nest entrance. See how many of them you can get to come out of the entrance and into the gasoline.

I have one like that under my carport. Was going to try Ortho Home Defense Wasp & Hornet Killer7. It foams. What do you think? Should I hire a pro? How big will it get if I leave it?
